So I wrote this because I got the idea in my head and had to put it down. It's the first thirty five pages of an unfinished first draft in screenplay format. I posted it unfinished because I wanted comments. It's alternate universe, and uses time travel (which I still need to pin down just exacty how that works). Yes, time travel. I'll figure it out eventually. Goes all the way back to Mass Effect 1.
Also, in order to keep it accurate up to the point of divergence, some of the beginning was transcribed directly from the game.
