Hi guys, hopefully someone can help me out with this problem. I bought some points off of the Dragon Age Origins website to purchase the downloadable content packs. However when I go to the Download Content menu in game none of the packs are visable to download. Has anyone had this issue before? I have port 18081 forwarded on my router and an exception in the firewall. Any help anyone could provide would be fantastic. Thanks in advance.

Are the points not showing in your in-game purchase window, or does the game otherwise say that you can not purchase items? For me it took a while before the points appeared in the game content downloader and I was able to use them. What happens if you make a cup of your favourite beverage and return?

Thanks Tolgabar I did read that and have started the service, but they are still not showing. Morwing my points are correctly displayed in the in-game purchase window but not the content packs. There is nothing listed under avaible downloads.

well that failed horribly, I now cannot download things that were working. I also got a new error about a time out being reached while trying to access online storage. I must say I am a bit disappointed by tech support so far.

Just so everyone is clear it's the avaible content section in game that does not show any of the avaible content packs for me. I feel like I may not have explained myself correctly

Thanks for the suggestion though, but the issue still stands. Hopefully I hear back from tech support soon.

Since you have a Web Site problem, and this is a GAME forum, why not try the Help forum for the web site?
I also have seen no mention of any visit to EA's support (if I can write that without laughing too hard I cannot type). This forum is mislabelled with regard to the name of the place. It's only unofficial tech help here. User to user, period.
The multiple line skips between paragraphs are the bad forum software's doing, not mine.

I am well aware of that. Since the issue is in-game I thought that made it a game problem? I have been waiting for 3 days for contact from there tech support team. I was merely hoping that someone may have come across the problem before.

The likelihood that someone from the web site's maintenance and development group, such as Jesse van Herk, actually reading your query and replying there is quite high, and I don't think he ever reads anything in here. Good enough?

Sorry but since when does the issue I am having have anything to do with the website? This is soley a problem in game with DLC's, which judging by a lot of the threads on this forum many people are having. All I am doing is seeing if anyone is having a similar problem and if they have resolved it.

Same kind of question. It's not about the game, it's about buying stuff, and there is a specific forum set aside to deal with the points system, using them, buying more, etc.

There is a sticky right on top that may just answer what you want to know.
For many DLC problems, there is a pinned FAQ-type message at the top of this forum.

Sorry you were quite correct. Unfortunatly theres nothing there that can help me. If I don't get this resolved soon I intend to return it, a company that doesn't support it's customers doesn't deserve my money. Sorry just venting a bit. Thanks Gorath Alpha

Same problem here.
I have purchased DLC points - which display in the game menu - but I cannot see any DLC content to select. I looked at the link suggested above and that has not helped unfortunately.

Anyone pulling up this thread because the web site's contents are out of date and still refer to the now-redundant release date for RtO, is to be disappointed. It was delayed, and Bioware didn't choose to make any particular effort to clean up after themselves in the several places that the previously planned release date had been named.
