Nah, not even close. Human Adepts are generally acknowledged to be the celler dweller adepts. The worst. To take the biotic explosion evolution on shockwave the adept must sacrifice the range evoution. The squishy adept must be within 16 meters. As has been pointed out already, Biotic slash is superior to shockwave in every conceivable way. And of course it's power is multiplied by tactical cloak. Unlike a Shadow, the squishy adept can't disappear or teleport away.
But I don't want to see it nerfed. I want shockwave buffed.
Shadow doesn't have Biotic Slash, it has Electric Slash which I don't think has any effect on BEs whatsoever. The Slayer has the Biotic Slash, so no TC bonus. My point was that the Human Adept can make a more overpowered combination than the Slayer. Not that the Human Adept is overpowered. Shockwave+Warp is better than just Biotic Slash, which is the Slayer's problem. If you don't have a biotic teammate, you have no Biotic Explosions at all so Biotic Slash needs to be a bit more powerful.
Agree on the shockwave buff though.

Yeah, they aren't very strong. The only thing they really have going for them is the fact that they go through walls.

For the AOE that it has it does way too much damage. One shotting multiple guys on gold, yeah that's thats not overpowered at all.
I could understand if it only did lots of damage in the actually sword arc, but that's not how it works.

The only change I would maybe think was a reasonable plan would be to reduce damage if the slash has gone through a wall. otherwise, the skill is genuinely one which requires a hint of skill thanks to the wind-up, and I'd hate to see the benefits of mastering it go away.

Plenty of powers cam "one shot" multiple enemies on gold if they're damaged. Biotic Slash won't even fully strip the shields off a Centurian.

Wow, didn't know this. Thanks for the info. Will test it out tonight when I get home.
See it all the time in FBW/G/G matches. N7 Shadow is the new Salarian Engineer. Spam Electric Slash through the wall behind the left console; enemies coming down the indoor staircase can't even get up off the ground. They just lie in a pile at the bottom of the stairs as you hurl grenades at them or shoot them in the face.

The slash animation doesn't make u invincible and u have to spec into worthwhile damage or you can spec into longer ranger and wide radius which means you can hit more mooks but with no more than half the damage of a fully damage-specced slash.

Maybe a benefit of being an electrical tech power against Synthetics? *shrugs*
BTW...what is it with certain people not wanting us to kill things in this game?
