I've heard that there are two types of sentinels: tank sentinels ( with tech armor) and sentinel-adept (with Throw-Warp combo). I'd like to try a "hybrid" sentinel maxing out Warp, Throw, Overlord and Tech Armor.
Any advices on powers, ammo and power bonus? I think best team members are Liara and Javik for biotic combo. Thanks.

Throw: Radius -> Detonate -> Double
Warp: Detonate -> Expose -> Recharge
Lift Grenade: Radius
Tech Armor: Durability -> Power -> Recharge
Overload: Chain -> Recharge -> Shield
Cryo Blast: Radius -> Explosion -> Recharge
Offensive Mastery: Damage -> Capacity -> Damage
Fitness: Durability -> Recharge -> Fitness
Barrier: Strength -> Power -> Recharge
Power mapping on Xbox: LB = Cryo/Warp, RB = Throw, Y = Overload
Easy to play, and can take a beating with 30% + 20% DR from TA+Barrier. You might replace recharge evolutions on Warp and Cryo, personal preference really but I want combos to go off as fast as possible especially with Barrier as bonus. On Overload the recharge is preferable to neural shock if you want to tech burst with your own Throw. Bring squadmates for ammo powers.

I always took Liara and Javik when possible and used Liara for warp ammo.

Thanks, isn't Warp: Detonate-> Lasting Damage-> Pierce better?
I went with Detonate> Expose> Pierce on my build.
With only a heavy pistol and 200% cooldowns I had no problems.

Did you pick Neural Shock?

As for Overload I prefer R5 Recharge over Neural Shock to more reliably get Tech Bursts from my own Throws and Neural Shock tend to drop enemies on the ground instead of having them stunned in an upright position. This is better for landing headshots and prevent them from falling behind cover. I also tend to run with heavy weapons like Black Widow or a powerful shotgun which prevents me from reaching 200% cooldowns.

Doesn't really matter who you bring as a Sentinel, it's the jack-of-all-trades class. But that said, Liara, Kaidan or Javik will benefit you the most, Liara is OP.

Last question: why barrier and not stasis? can I bring a sniper rifle?

Take Barrier or Defensive Matrix, max it and Tech Armor for damage protection and then spec Throw for "Reset on Detonation." Then you can take the Claymore, Revenant, and Black Widow if you want while you continually detonate biotic effects casted by Liara, Javik or Kaidan (even though we all know he died on Virmire). Make sure to also take the grenades for when you miss a detonation and are on your 10 year cooldown. Or you can still do the same build but only take a reasonable weapon weight.

I'd like to play Sentinel on Insanity. It's the first time I use this class but I can't find a build.

The joys of Sentinel (correct me if I'm wrong. Haven't played this class)
Any build you can think of will work on insanity.
Any combination of squadmates will work on insanity.
Any combination of weapons will work on insanity.
In fact I dare anyone on this thread to think of a build that doesn't work.
Go on, try to think of the daftest, most suicidal build imaginable with a sentinel.

Not putting any points into anything?

ME3 is easily beatble in Insanity without a single skill point.
PS: If you send me another TB hard drive for Fraps I'll prove it to you
