One would think that Skyrim would show Bioware that an amazing single player is what people want, not a hastily thrown together mess. The only reason for playing it more than once is the Multiplayer, a standard survival challenge mode. If I wanted to play that, I would play GOW3.

Oh, and when people were complaining that Fallout 3 had a crappy ending, Bethesda said "Ok, we'll change it so your character lives, no problem." Why is that so difficult for you, Bioware?

How could Bioware look at an amazing RPG experience like Skyrim, which was released November 2011, look at ME3 while it was finished with it's lazily thrown together story, and think "This'll do!"? And then release it in March 2012.

Only thing Skyrim / Fallout lacks are decent characters and Romance. Apart from that, they are superior to ME3 in every way.

Skyrim sucks really hard, the different plots are way too short, most chars are underdeveloped,
i dont care how great a world is and how many different possibilities there are if you finish every arc after 2-3 hours, just to change to the next one...

Edit: why couldn't they make fetch quest have action in them (like getting war assets and salvage kinda fetch)? That alone would've added like 30 more missions alone.

Actually, those 2 things are what I want in an RPG. Plus a great and surprising story. Like or hate the ned fo ME3, you got to admit you were surprised!

Finding your way in ME3 is a lot easier than Skyrim, though. I get lost every 5 seconds in Skyrim, and it took me a while to relise that horse-and-cart man can actually take you to places you haven't been yet.

Meh, i always enjoyed the romances. Liara in ME1, then Tali in ME2 and ME3. Then again, Tali's my favorite character. Although i noticed the romance in ME3 wasn't great.

Skyrim might be a better made game, but I like Mass Effect 3 more.

Your actions in Skryim mean NOTHING. They just change what the guards say to you. The world is very beautiful to explore though.
Though Skyrim is still a pretty good game, Mass effect any day.

Well, it has a storyline for one. That adds like 100 depth points. It has actual character interaction +100 depth points. Gameplay that isn't woeful +50 depth points. Auto-dialogue -50 depth points.
Just as a game, Skyrim has width, but since there is no motivation to keep playing other than using your imagination to create sotrylines, it's boring as balls.
New Vegas on the other hand.... Obsidian should take Bethesda's job.

Please, tell me how Mass Effect 3's choices matter and how deep it is. Because the only things I noticed were the fact that the dialogue is slightly different if you choose the bottom right option instead of the top right option.Trentest0 wrote...
Skyrim is an example of a massive beautiful world with no depth. Mass Effect is the opposite: you're more constrained, but the depth is massive.

Lol, I'm sorry but have you ever seen what people complain about on the Skyrim forums? I will agree though that Skyrim is a much better game than Mass Effect 3, with about 1,000 times more replayability.

Actually, didn't Bioware even mention in some article that Skyrim was an amazing game and inspired them to take new directions with Dragon Age 3?
