seriously...you are joking......

Me3 aint an RPG at all.  It's a shooter.  Choices are linear.  Exploration is Linear. Yeah the universe itself might look pretty but exploration...... is non existant.

THANK YOU.

Skyrim is an ok game, but I don't think I can compare it to ME3. One is hack and slash and other is pretty much guns.

I like the sandbox aspect though along with the construction set to allow peeps to do an attempt at making a quest, making some cool armor or something along the lines. I have found some creative people out there. Kind of wished ME universe was a sandbox and had construction set.

You're right. But the multiplayer peoples here fail to even grasp at that concept...

They think if a game have some dialogues it must be a RPG...

Yeah... Combat micro transactions... That is an RPG alright.

YAWN. Skyrim is a shallow sandpit.

"OMFG look at all this sand! Let's see how dee- *clunk*....

oh.."

Yep, tell me all about how ME3 is a deep RPG experience...

Well, it has a storyline for one. That adds like 100 depth points. It has actual character interaction +100 depth points. Gameplay that isn't woeful +50 depth points. Auto-dialogue -50 depth points.

Just as a game, Skyrim has width, but since there is no motivation to keep playing other than using your imagination to create sotrylines, it's boring as balls.

New Vegas on the other hand.... Obsidian should take Bethesda's job.

^This

But TBF Skytim has better RPG mechanics, has more polish, and It also dosn't try to be too many things at once. However  rhe narritive for Skyrim is lack-luster at best, and it's characterization is almost non-existant.

Sten says NO. Finished ME3 twice and still play MP once in a while. Played Skyrim a total of 4-5 hours, got bored to death.

As someone who has played both games for more time then I'd care to admit, you can't really compare them. Its two completely different experiences. Apples and oranges.

Take ME3 characters story and action and incorporate Skyrims exploration and deep customisation mechanics and to me, you have pretty much the perfect game. Game, Pre-Ordered!!

Different strokes for different folks. I enjoy story, character development and lore in my games, so as far as I'm concerned, I much prefer BioWare games to Skyrim. Skyrim was breathtakingly beautiful, but that's about it. After 50 hours, I got bored of exploring and all the bugs. It didn't elicit as much emotion from me as BioWare games do.

Now if Skyrim had a party system with recruitable, interactive, interesting NPCs, it would be godly.

I would compare mass effect 3 more with spec ops the line, and I think spec ops do better.

The problm wit skyrim is that they didn't develop things enough. The arcs are way too short, the difficulty is badly done (dragons should have been much stronger srsly), many town are way too small.
Heck, the environment doesn't feel as big or as impressive as those in arma 2/DayZ. Just compare the trees in both game;

Morrowind did quite better in that regard, though it had an atrocious combat system.

ME3 on the other hand has a pretty bland combat mechanic, inconsistent writing... it just pains me to se what they did with that licence.

Skyrim is a nice game, but it's tedious (evidently to become a guard you must first suffer a knee injury and why is it I can't go a few clicks outside a city w/o being attacked by wolves and attacked by wolves and attacked by wolves) and I could care less about most of the NPCs.

If you kept fighting wolves, you must have been a REALLY low level.

I hope you know that there are these things called opinions. As for me personally I think they are both mediocre games.

No.

When I play games, I want to be entertained.
The ME series entertained me. Morrowind and Oblivion always made me feel like I have to entertain myself. I got bored with both games, so I could not even finish them and that does not happen very often.
Won't even try Skyrim so, it's a matter of taste.

Well, atleast Bethesda had the decency to not charge us with Day 1 DLC, falsely advertise, treat their fans like ****.

Maybe Ill finish it one day, so far at 10 hours of gameplay and bored to death. Nice views still at some places.

Bored? Of Skyrim after 10 hours? IMPOSSIBRU

That's how I typically feel with a Bethesda game. Though I occasionally slog through to the finish.
