I am. It's telling me to redeem or purchase an online pass code, yet I already have one synced to the account...

I'm assuming it's under maintenance, because out of curiosity I clicked the "Redeem" option and it said just that. That, and the fact that no one that plays ME3 on my friends list is on. xD

Irritatingly enough, that is what it is telling me, also. Even more irritaing is that i have friends that DO have access to MP.

I have the same problem. It was actually doing this a few days ago as well. I'm just going to wait a few hours and see if they get it fixed.

This is stupid. I was playing just fine earlier today and now I come back and I need to redeem again come on I thought this issue was resolved. Once again I was proven WRONG but w/e no matter how many times this issue pops up it still happens no matter what they do to fix this issue. To top that off I cannot redownload my online pass because PS Store is down for 24 hours due to maintence so literally the ones like myself have this issue are just pushed aside and ignored by bioware. kinda funny i think.

Here's the official word from Sony...

In order to continue to deliver you the best online games experience, we will be performing maintenance on the network this Thursday, July 26th. This maintenance will start at approximately 8:00 am PDT (9:00am MDT / 10:00am CDT /11:00 am EDT) and end around 11:00pm PDT on Thursday, July 26th (1:00am MDT / 2:00am CDT / 3:00am EDT on Friday, July 27th).During this maintenance period, you may receive a message that states “PlayStation Network is undergoing maintenance” when attempting to access the PlayStation Store or PlayStation Home. As long as you have signed in to PSN within 5 days prior to the start of maintenance (meaning: any time since July 21st), you WILL be able to play games online and enjoy apps such as Netflix, HULU Plus and Music Unlimited during this maintenance period. So if you haven’t signed in to PSN in the last few days, we suggest you do so before the maintenance period begins Thursday morning.

I played ME3 multiplayer every evening this week, so theoretically I should be able to play. But if I try to sign in, I get an error message, something like "unknown error occured", NOT that PSN is undergoing maintenance.

Oh well, at least we know that the system is SNAFU and it's not a new, unknown error. Hopefully they can finish their visual prostate exams by the time the challenge is due to start.

The PSN is undergoing a maintennance period today that began at 8am EST and ends at 11pm EST. So it is all Playstation games while they conduct the maintennance.

I can't play either. Have rebooted repeatedly and just keep getting the redeem stuff. Can't even access my account history. Totally locked out, and yet all of my friends are on.

I also started getting the 'you must redeem...' message but I've still been able to play by canceling out of that prompt and carrying on as usual.

i "fix" this doing this:

- rewriting the code and install the key
- i get the same message but when i reebot i can log normaly

Even after the PSN Stoew's update, I still had to enter my pass code again for the game. It has taken over an hour to get into multiplayer. Once I got in all my equipment slots show none and I am missing a weapons that I achieved. At this point I am reloading my game and restarting my PS3 system until things show up properly. Hopefully, I will not have to do an uninstall and reinstall the Mass Effect 3 game and DLCs. I have also posted this and other connections issues on the Multiplayer Issues page for this site.

Unfortunately, I could not start a mission and the game kept saying that it was loading information, but nothing happened. There have been too many issues lately, so I am going to try an reinstall the ME3 game, DLCs and backup saved gamed. I hope this goes well.

im having this problem;

1. accessing the store shows nothing, no packs. just blank blue screen. only shows the option to exit.
2. i cant equip any equipment, as if i have none.
3. i cant level up my character, and even after a mission (fail or success), my exp and level are resetted as before the match. so does my creds.

the usual response by the EA staff was to delete save data and game data. did the sava data delete, still the same.

currently in the process of deleting game data/ reinstalling the patch/dlc etc2. and i had notice, it takes hours just to redownload all the patches and dlc. usually for a 150mb dlc, with the existing connection, 30-45mins, but now it takes 2-3 hours.

Finally, after five hours of connection issues, reinstalling ME3 and restarting the game several times, I was able to complete a mission in multiplayer. I wish we had more guidance for how to resolve these issues until they hopefully fixed.

I had this issue and deleting just the game profile worked for me. Or it could be coincidence... but it worked.
