Why does anyone think its cool to keep a dog like that?

I love dogs.....its just the idiots that use them as some sort of macho status symbol that irritates me.

If one want "Wardog" or Guarddog like Rottweiler you can't make friend with "War" or "Guard", you has to be a boss, common sence, not slave to feeling (Oh, I want that dog it's so cute, ect) and strong, not friendly, if seek friend with dog, at least find weaking dog, so I am told.

There are two dog breeds I can think of that are rather Mabari like.

First is the Colorado Bulldog

Second is a breed of dog thats still being established and is not fully official yet called a Tamaskan.
(Often confused for a wolf or wolf hybrid this dog has no wolf genes)

The Mabari and its movements in-game are based off of a real life bread, I can't for the life of me remember its name but it resembles a boxer.

Mabari look like they have that mutation that gives some Whippets extra muscle mass. I don't know if other dogs can have it as well or if Whippets can pass it to mixed offspring. But take any dog that already looks something like a Mabari, give it that mutation, and you'd have a Mabari.
