Why not let them cling to walls and drop down with omniblade daggers to instakill enemies? Oh wait, that would make it Assassin's Creed.
The grab is fine.
I didn't say they were bad just unoriginal, and its called an observation and possibly a suggestion

Any1 think they'd make that animation though just bc they're new characters they don't do much different as far as animations added ... Just a mix of other characters already in game ...

Because that would require making new animations, rather than reusing old ones. And we all know how much BioWare likes reusing assets...

Because Bioware's artistic integrity said that all the new characters should have the generic omni-blade stab from cover, even though they don't have omni-blades. In truth, I don't know. I was really hoping for some cool and unique cover grabs from the N7 characters. Like the Shadow and Slayer pulling an enemy over the cover, and then planting their sword in its chest, or the Paladin pulling an enemy over cover and then smashing its shield on its head. Stuff like that. And the Destroyer should have pulled them over cover and used his curb stomp heavy melee on them(Revenge!).
Dead Space's Issac Clark would be proud lol

it would seem more right for them to do that
because it involves coding. bioware dont like this, hence no turian roll. it's also called, lazy

Shadow should be a fast one. . . something like sticking the sword into their chest and pulling them over the cover in one swift motion. It could've been even more awesome.

Basically, grab the enemy, flip them over your head and behind you (so you're still in cover) sword through the gut.
Do it to a Phantom for just deserts.

Why not just use the Phantom sync kill animation for a grab?

Or you'd jump out and stab them from a standing point to their back as they can't turn around on time ? Something new would of been nice but every1s right. Bioware probably didn't want to add the animation .

The Slayer/Shadow should stab with their katana.
The Paladin should smash them with his shield.
The Demolisher should use her omni-knuckle explosive to pop their head.
The Destroyer should use the Husk stomp animation and crush their head with his energy foot stomp thing. Alternatively, he could do the vorcha animation with his wrist blade.
