With this build I am regularly doing 3096 points of damage with three quick blasts of Phase Disruptor (812 + 220 from fitness melee synergy & biotic charge power synergy x 3).  It's even more when you factor in I'm using Disruptor ammo and setting off tech bursts with the first of 3 PDs.  Then if I decide to use a Power Amp III then its 3456 damage for the three PDs and whatever the damage & force of the tech burst.


Edit: In case anyone is wondering why I didn't use radius on biotic charge, its so I can stagger Gold Phantoms even if I haven't activated Melee Synergy or Power Synergy bonuses.  Charge Phantom for stagger, dash backwards, two PDs and then heavy melee = headless Phantom.   Also, the heavy melee tracking is only an issue if you are too close to the enemy, so the backward dash solves this issue.

i skip biotic slash, and do full health n shields. i use a falcon for ammo effects with my phase disruptor.
charge + falcon + PD, rinse, repeat.

I like my 3,6,6,5,6 build for synergy with other classes and a bit of extra health. If I wanted to play charge and melee, I would be more tempted just to pick a melee specced N7 Shadow and rock duration,melee damage, extra power tactical cloak with shadow strike and sword mastery as its quicker and less host-reliant(and better for revives, objectives etc)

I am grateful for an explanation of the mechanics though, being able to charge right out of light melee without a delay will help a lot.

With 6-6-3-5-6 you don't need other classes. It would be nice if I can fire/cryo explosion, TB, BE, but I can survive on my own vs all enemy types.

But I agree this is not a melee class (not for me at least). I have almost never used the sword except for the teleport..... If I want melee I would play a Krogan. Better for revival? Of course. It's hard to argue infiltrators are best for revival and 1-2-3-4 objectives. Host reliance is ok for me. I can't stand the high draining playstyle of PD Slayer for more than 2 games in a row. It's not like Nova guard wher you just mindless novaing. You acutally need to aim (a little bit).
