Hang on, where did my medigel supply go? Why "Stomping" on Gold/Platinum is ridiculously horrendous and NEEDS TO GO.

Well Bob.2, it seems you hit the nail on the knob. Knob hit 1: I don't lose Gold matches because I'm not good enough, as many can attest to.

Yes you do, thats the only reason for losing there is.

Besides incompetent allies? It happens, believe me. My allies earlier today were so bad I blamed our tragic defeat on the new execution system. Turns out I just couldn't find a decent team for the longest time.

Go figure.

EDIT: And to those who assume I'm just being a meaner, consider this: my final score was over 3x the rest of the teams' scores combined. I know score hardly means anything, but (and I was reviving when I could) I think this one does.

I have only this to say:

cooperative multiplayer

I could select two random words out of the dictionary and my post would add more to the discussion than you have.

Let me specify for those that lack the mental capacity to understand my previous, heaviliy densified comment.

1. Play with people that will revive you. Move in teams so you can be revived.
2. If you play random games, do not be surprised whatever happens.

Can't be bothered to go deeper into this.

That wasn't so hard was it?

Being too quick to accept an additional feature to the game that detracts from the fun is, IMHO, lame. IMHO.

Calling me a brat (or anything else for that matter), does not change this. Clearly, some likey ze stomp and some don't. I, for one, fall into the latter category -- for reasons previously stated.
That pretty much sums it up.
Thanks for reading and, for those that contributed constructively, sharing your views.

May ye not lose a game nor the credits because of ze stomp.

I'm surprised this hasn't been brought up more. It doens't make any difference whether you're with your team. You have about a 2 second window before getting stomped - that's FAR too short. It should require a certain percentage of the bar to go down first. I've literally stood shoulder to shoulder with someone who went down, turned IMMEDIATELY, and he got stomped while I was turning around.

Thats great...to see mission failures are more possible.
There is no fun in always winning (with very few exceptions).

Actually, my first post was much more interesting than my second one.

But then again, I am a weird dude who calls the things the BSN labels "plothole" food for thought and enjoys having something to think about.

Agree on that. The time window is too short. There is also another problem. Even if i manage to start a revive, the downed player gets stomped. It should not be possible to stomp a downed player, if a revive action is started.

I dislike the stomping buff as it just makes the game more boring for me. We all go down and need revives occasionally, but the speed of stomping at the moment is just annoying. Your team mates should have at least a chance of reviving you. It's just dull otherwise.

If the trooper is already going for stomp, revive action does not stop him, that was in bronze and silver from release day. You have to kill him before reviving, or stagger, or use throw, concussive shot or whatever.

IMMEDIATELY means tho trooper was too close and is logical that he stomps within one second as he is standing right at downed player, if he is 10 meters away hu has to get to you first, so theres enough time for teammates to interfere. Exceptions may be some bugs or lag related, that it seems to be so quick.

Anyway, teamplay is really required...this is good change. You are supposed to fail if you make mistakes.

No amount of skill can save you from getting stomped. I guess you could try to avoid dying, but it was once the hardest difficulty. Expecting people to not die once in a while is stupid. It's gonna happen to the average player.

It's fake difficulty.

Pushing 7 sure is hard.

Indeed it is.

How's that been going for you so far?

Just fine, I haven't been stomped once.  Don't understand what all the fuss is about.

The stomping needs some reworking in my opinion. I've been stomped by enemies no where near me and I've been stomped while being revived.

I guess no one here has ever played Gears huh? Man up and quit your crying. Gold players crying over a feature thats been in the lower difficulties since day one. You need to have your N7 status revoked!

I die more when i camp more (Unless i'm krentinel/justicar/gethgineer).
I learn how not to die (as often)... but medigel for some reason refuses to drop often; especially since spec packs changed...

Die less -> give the enemy less opportunity to stomp you. Problem solved.

If you can't, maybe you should settle for a lower difficulty until you are ready or just accept the expenses, period.

Leave it in. I find it separates the team players from the run off and die right away fools.

And from the sounds of it, you need a brain transplant huh-boy. Don't you realise this appalling addition has tue potential to simply put you one step further from mission success and subsequent credits more often? All the while rapidly depleting your hard-earned gear and equipment?

Oh, or should I say huh? IMHO, It doesn't add to fun only frustration -- especially when playing with PUGs ( which many of us do).

Try it yourself and "man up" when you man down, trying to revive fallen team-mates in what has -- due to this new inclusion -- become an almost impossible task in many instances (read previous posts for details).

And "don't even" go near the Bronze / Silver comparison. *sigh* just don't.
