Hang on, where did my medigel supply go? Why "Stomping" on Gold/Platinum is ridiculously horrendous and NEEDS TO GO.

The enemies should be made less determined to do it as fast as they can, though.

Valid, but there's only so much we as players can do. The execution system is basically just another RNG system that decides when you should die. There's no skill involved in avoiding execution (other than not dying, I suppose, but good luck doing a perfect Gold/Platinum match). You could be playing tactical, Assault Troopers flank you, one shoots a guy to death, and the other stomps him before the other guys even fully realize what's going on. I know that's highly unlikely, but that's the kind of stuff we're going to be in for now.
I don't see how people could be okay with executions but hate instant-kill grabs and the store system.

Now, people are losing because they can't save their allies in time and the downed ally in question has 9/10 of his 'Tap A to not die' gauge filled but no medi-gel.
Explain to me how this is fair.
For those that have entered this thread and unwittingly posted unwanted, unwelcome and previously addressed non-viable suggestions such as "Duh, change level", or "Daa, improve your game", nada-yada: Dullahan's quote sums up a large part of what this thread is in relation to.
Read. Think. Comment. Or get stomped.
Executions while downed are not artificial difficulty. Geth shenanigans are artificial difficulty. Magnet hands is artificial difficulty.
If his bleedout bar is almost filled then he'd better use a gel. And if he doesn't have any then he's stupid for walking into gold without gel. Or if he's used 5 of them already then the player in question and very likely the rest of the fire team need to get some more trigger time in silver. If you lost gold matches because you weren't good enough to finish, then executions are the least of your problems.
And how is playing is a difficulty appropriate for your skill level non-viable?

No. Now PUBs still run around only they end up dead chickens and stomping enables them to be so -- very quickly.

It's not RNG. If you die to three trooper then one of them is going to try to execute you.
The skill in avoiding execution lies on you with not dying and mostly on your team mates with how they react.
Executions are completely preventable if you let your team know what just happened, and provided you're not doing the lone wolf thing. Your buddy tells you he's been downed, you turn and immediately check and/or fire on where he was downed to kill anything left. Prioritize mooks that actually do the executions.

I once saw an Assault Trooper stop attacking one of my allies and try to run HALF-WAY across the map to try and stomp another ally who got downed. Where's the sense in that?! When I put it that way, it actually sounds like it's making the game easier now, because shooting that Assault Trooper was both simple and fun.
I think it basically comes down to this, though: do you guys seriously LIKE getting stomped? If the answer is yes, I have the phone number to a good mental therapist that I'd be happy to give out.

A fair point. At least you're actually proposing a solution to the problem, unlike all the "hurr durr, OP is a noob" posts that have littered this thread at this point. Sometimes Assault Troopers have this strange moment of Devastator Mode though, where nothing keeps them from doing their job of stomping an ally. But, I suppose that's what GUNS are for.
My only real advice to people who have an issue with this new system (like I did earlier today), is just get used to it. It's not changing anytime soon, so you may as well play it to your advantage and use ally corpses as a good place to set up a missile launch
The worst that could happen is, you get better at the game, and then if the day comes that this is lifted, you'll be a better player. Awesomesauce.

Stomping has existed in this game even on gold. They simply tweaked it for an increased chance of it happening since it was lower for some reason.
It's nothing new. I've been stomped before on Gold and I'm used to it.
The trick is surviving in the first place until you can clear out all the weaker enemies that "stomp" you.
So not signing. You're asking for a mechanic that has always been there to be removed.

Yes. I like for there to be punishments for me playing like I don't know any better.
The rare occasion I get executed, nine times out of ten it's my own fault and I'm enough of a man to own up to it. I got downed and executed because I temporarily forgot everything I was taught.

Well Bob.2, it seems you hit the nail on the knob. Knob hit 1: I don't lose Gold matches because I'm not good enough, as many can attest to. Knob hit 2: I am not new to Gold, can solo silver, and I am not new to Gold. Knob hit 3: how on Earth (be it reaper-burnt or otherwise) do you think, dare (even better), to know what game-play level is appropriate for me?
Perhaps you might check out my manifest and my achievements before you have the audacity to even hint at knowing what difficulty level is appropriate for me. Better still, try reading and thus understanding what a thread is addressing.
Stomping Knob hit 4: unlike Cerburus not missing downed players, you missed the point of this thread completely.
Now, go away and feel stupid for awhile and consider yourself entertained.

Yeah. I guess I just had a few bad matches with jack**** players who apparently didn't know there was an A button on the controller and just rolled right on over me. Now that I've got my bearings, Gold's definitely a lot better than ever.

I never suggested anything about what difficulty level you should play on. I myself played in silver for quite a while before moving to gold.
But ultra rare unlocks do not impress me. Due to my playstyle all but 2 of them are worthless to me, and I only have one of those two.
The point of the thread seemed to be you not being happy executions being introduced into gold, but honestly they should have been there from release.

I play PUB games almost exclusively. Since stomping was introduced, I
lose more than I win. Prior to this I won more (far more) than I lost.
So the playerbase has yet to catch up to the new and (rightfully) introduced mechanic. Or any of the other points others and myself have brought up. Give it time, the playerbase will catch up. Keep at it, you'll find your skills adapting to the change.
Or keep whining like a child and act like a snot-nosed brat to people.

Oh noes, my buddy is down! Get close, target him, hit space bar.
Stick to cover. Vault over cover. Dive forward. Dive backward. Stick to a different cover. Roll off of cover. Begin activating nearby device. Stick to first cover again. Vault over it as my buddy has to gel.
