Dude, no.

Phantoms are super flimsy, take a harrier, slap an ammo mod on it & give to an asary, then stasus them, walla, no more phantom.

As for Banshees, they can only do that when they get close. Solution? Dont let them get close, they are slow even when teleporting to its not too hard to kite them.


But what if I don't want to run as Asari? I don't particularly enjoy either of the Asaris with Stasis...

Banshees... you're right, until they jump through the wall and cut off your escape.

How about tightening the spread on Hunters GPS and having them start shooting at greater range... easiest thing about hunters is retreating from them.

Can a Vorcha flamer out-range a Pyro now? If so... that needs to be remedied.

Dont use ammo consumables either and you and others stop making f';ing nerf threads.



We beat Platinum with 4 Human Soldiers with Avengers and concussive shot, no grenades, no rockets... but we did use ammo boosts. Took an hour but it's doable... Reapers/London. There's a video of it somewhere around here... but it's pretty boring IMO.

It wouldn't be enough. The primes drones and turrets should be able to move. The drones should be able to phase through walls an explode.

So far.. the hardest one has been 4 Geth Engineers with just the Geth Pulse Rifle, no equipment, no rockets/medigels/ops packs. Couldn't get past wave 3 on Platinum... ever. Threw away all my respec cards on that one...

I like this, very good suggestions sir. It also seems fair, considering hunter mode is supposed to give you an accuraccy boost, so this even fits with lore and should thus please even more people.

All farmers would move to glacier/cerberus, thus your anti farm suggestion doesn't work that well.

Anyway, it's very unlikely bioware will take these suggestions:
First because it would require adding a new feature and they seem only to adjust minor aspects(variables that are already coded). I'm not saying that it can't be done, but like I said it is unlikely.
Second, many players disagree with you. To those looking for harder chalenges, you could stop using gear/equipment and builds that make sense for starters (I know I sometimes do, and most of the time I don't use any equipment). If you want to further increase the difficulty, use a character that is low level and equip it with some really crap weapon (there are many) without any mods. Then proceed to soloing platinum/unknown map with it without using any rocket/medigel/first aid kit.

Having fun is subjective. However, like most of those subjective things there's a pattern that most agree with. If it'd be extremely difficult and most players would fail every single time or it'd take an enormous amount of time to accomplish something that they once did in less time, it's going to be frustrating.
Just be aware that bioware is here to satisfy the needs of the majority of their players. And whether you like it or not, most of them aren't great gamers. So it would be a bad experience for them which would result in a backlash.

Bioware has shown they aren't scared of backlash... proof is Krysae nerf and trooper stomp.

Seriously... Geth just march in a straight line right at you... it's like playing Tower defense and you're the turret. Can you handle that? No? Wow.

Plus... no insta-kill unit. I guess they could make all Geth get the trooper stomp since most of them are trooper class units. Hunters and Pyros with trooper stomp... now you're talking Platinum difficulty.

I refuse to play against the Geth, ever since the last buff and how cheap they are. I literally play only Reaper. I also, don't farm so Geth remain non-issue for me...but still..naaaah dude.

you know just because this is the most popular place to farm doesn't mean its the only one. I can think of three other locations just off the top of my head that would be just as easy to camp in. You nerf this one people will just find another place to Pitch there tents. Point is campers will still camp even if you take there favorite tent.

That would be too easy to counter. All you have to do is have someone stand in the spawn and poof. No geth here

And why take it at all?

If people wanna farm, let them farm. What difference does it make to anyone else? For a fair number of casual players farming s pretty much the only way they can upgrade without real cash.
