Never understood the appeal of Miranda (don't hit me), and ME1 Ash is one of my favourite characters of the whole franchise. Sadly they ruined her in ME3...

^This^ Although I liked Ash in ME1. She was human in that. Now she's a barbie doll.

Ashley was way more interesting. Just look at the conversations on these forums after the release of ME1: racism, nationalism, religion, etc.... In contrast, the only thing people wanted to talk about with respect to Miranda was "dat ass."

I'd choose Ashley for the simple fact that she gets more screen time across the 3 games. If Miranda had the same amount I would go with her instead.

Ashley was a great character in ME1, but in ME3 she turned into a Miranda clone. Her look was atrocious and some times she just seemed a bit OOC in ME3. So comparing both Ash and Miranda from ME3, I'll go with Miranda.

This may seem paradoxical, but Miranda's also more human. If you break up with her in ME3 she shows actual human emotion and cries. I couldn't bring myself to save the game after that. I had planned to go back to Ash, but Miranda grew on my Shep.
Ash is like, oh well. I know she had 2 years to mourn you but then she got you back. 2 years isn't that long in terms of mourning someone you love. So lucky to get a second chance.

Ashley even though she was disappointing in ME3. I thought she was a really great character in ME1.

Miranda just irks me. Father this, sister that, ugh. Her face often looked really weird, especially in certain lighting (no offense to Yvonne, she is quite lovely IRL). Also the gratuitous ass shots really got annoying. Doesn't help that her bum didn't even look good. Really plastic.

Not really a huge fan of either, but I love Yvonne Straskowhatsherface and Ashley was pretty boring in ME3 so I think I'll go with Miranda.

Eh... or? I mean, Ashley is from ME1 and everything from ME1 is brilliant, we all know this.

I'm more of a Liara guy myself...
