Edit: I'm done for the night. Been a loooong day! Trust me - getting this thing done with someone in Canada, someone in Australia and someone in Germany is a shocking recipe for sleep! Would be REALLY appreciated if this falls off the perch if any one could lift it back up again. 350 responses already - in what, about an hour? Done. The EC was a slight improvement. Still want closure mainly. Reunite Shepard with his LI, Team mates, etc. Want to actually see what happens to everyone i cared about after the endings of the game. You know, like Fallout. 

EC didn't provide the closure it should have. Still speculating half decent endings over here...

Filled it out for what it's worth. The ending needed a face lift not a band aid IMO. I must admit the content of the EC in a vacuum was fine and I appreciated the refusal option. The root problem is still there though. The Catalyst.

the problem with these surveys is only that they represent only those who are part of the discussion right now.

people who liked the EC would say that those who liked it are not visiting because of the bullying negativity on these boards.

people who don´t like the EC say that many already left the board because of their frustration with bioware.

I say the people who are most likely to participate are the ones who are disappointed...
disappointment is feeling that needs release...enjoyment is not.

so i don´t think surveys on these boards can really show a representative opinion of the entire Mass Effect player base.

I can see your point, but this poll is outside the forums, though.  Anyone can access it.  It just needs more attention on other sites.  Personally I think if this poll could be something you could access in the game as well as on the internet, it would be great.  It would get the most representative sample.

Then why are you posting on the thread if it annoys you so much? Is someone holding a gun to your head? There are plenty of subjects to choose from on the forum, some of them may even interest you.

About two of the questions... "Which ending did you prefer in the game as it was first released?" and "Which ending did you prefer in the Extended Cut?" I couldn't answer these because I hated all of them in the original version and I hated all of 'em in the Extended Cut. Maybe there should be a "None" answer added to these.

Anyway, yeah...polished turd. The Catalyst should never have been in the game at all. It might work in a completely different story, but it doesn't belong in Mass Effect. It should've been replaced with something that actually fits.
