Thanks all. The survey is also linked from the Mass Effect Universe site, and in general the users of that forum appear to be more supportive of ME3 and Bioware generally. The points made about the BSN forum might well be valid, but what we'd really like are some feasible solutions, ie so where can we post the link to get a broader range of results?

Well - we've allowed three weeks. It seemed like a good idea at the time!   But with over 7500 responses now and we've not finished week 1... sigh - should have leaned from the analyses and report writing of the first surveys what  sleep depravation awaits! LOL! Anyway - three weeks it is - so closing around 17th August - or whatever that translates to in the various parts of the world.
