Online Pass Issues Fixed by Re-Dowloading

Just helping some people who are having trouble with their redeem pass issue this should fix it

XMB
-Go to Playstation Store
-Find the upper right hand corner
-Choose View Downloads
-Find Mass Effect 3 online-pass
-Re-download it
-Play Mass effect 3 MP
-Enjoy

can confirm this worked for me
something must have screwed up our local copies of the files, as my friends where all online ok without having to do this.

can anyone confirm that if your doing the paper on it works too?

And if you bought the Blu-Ray with the online pass in the package? Just type again?

It was annoying to have to keep going into the redeem option and then cancel just to get to the multiplayer.

Hey! It's not showing up in my downloads list, so i can't re-download it. Any tips on what i can do now?

You might have to pay for it again or you could call tech support. What I would do is find out what exactly happened to that download. Go to the ps site, log onto your account, try to find out if somethings wrong with your ps3 account before buying the pass. You want to figure out what exactly happened to that pass before you buy the pass again (this is a last resort, I don't recommend it). Again it's a permanent pass so it will never expire, no matter what. 

Other than that sorry I'm not an expert.

The re-download method has worked for me and I completely forgot about it, so I felt like sharing it. If it's not there then I would assume psn screwed up. Check your account and what you bought, hopefully the online pass is still there.

 I've tried all what was posted in regards to redownloading my access pass from the PS store download list and I still have received the same issue with the access pass not recognising . Frustrating even after the tech weenie from EA helped create a new code only to have the same error repeat itself . I'm not about to pay for a new access pass when there's nothing wrong with the I received when I bought the game before Sony shafted me after that maintenance of theirs .:crying:

Yeah if that happened to me I don't think I'd play again, I don't want to pay for something I already own. Honestly I'd just quit and yeah I would assume maintenance had something to do with it.

I keep having the same issue but I tried this method it did not work, it still asks me for my pass, do I have to make it a clean install, delete all dlc and stuff?
I can actually play with just choosing to close the window when it asks me for my pass but I had funny things happening such as completing matches and not actually receiving the credits, at first it used my consumables but didn't get the rewards, but checked today and everything is reset to before the 2 gold matches I did.

I'm not sure, that has never happened to me before. I guess this method doesn't always work. Maybe somethings up with psn or bioware.

Yeah =/ but if it doesn't work just wait a while and try again, I did and it seems to be back to normal was even able to do a match without problems and received the rewards. Something else happened though, before being back to normal my shop was empty and i was missing some weapons and couldn't use my equipment, so it's most likely psn or the server itself =/

Edit: Oh yeah, thanks for the tip on how to fix it :)
