 Hello there,

Just looking to find some English-speaking people to play the Mass Effect 3 multiplayer with on PC, since I don't have any friends who own the game on PC and are willing to play the multiplayer. I've found the multiplayer to be quite fun and wish to unlock as many things as possible. I think it would be a lot more fun playing it with a bunch of other people while using voice-chat (either the one provided by the game or via another channel). My ME3 username is Varyth, so do add me as a friend and reply to this topic if interested!

Major problem there boss is the difficulty connecting to people on yer origin list.

You can try me, I've been able to actually play with a couple people, but it's about a 50/50 shot.

ID's in the sig.

It'd be good to play with some people from BSN, ME3 doesn't seem to want to work with my mic but I have skype and mumble and that should work. My origin username is hyperperistalsis.

I prefer Silver and play a few times a week.

You could try the group Bronze Effect, which is a group of fairly casual players mostly on Bronze/Silver, with a few Gold regulars, too. What time zone are you in, and when do you usually play?

Well, forget I said anything: Origin's buggy bugginess renders me completely unable to launch any game if I should enable Origin in-game, which apparently is needed to invite friends into a Mass Effect 3 multiplayer game?

In any case, if you guys should want to group up you ought to: I won't be able to play with friends, regardless.

Mass rejects run gold and plat. Silver is also run by some. Friend me , and we can set you up on mumble for voice chat. Great people from all over the globe, protecting the fictional universe from the fictional reaper threat!

However buggy Origin is, it was considerably worse a few months ago.

Friend invites are handled through Origin. What do you mean that you can't launch games when enabling Origin? I thought you needed Origin running to launch ME3 in the first place.

My regular squad is mostly away this weekend so I'll be heading to PUGs some of the time unless I find some mates who play during GMT daylight hours and who are not glued to the Olympics...  I like to play for fun, love getting full extractions and I'm a decent player on silver,  have done a number of gold maps on full extractions with my regular squad, find bronze nicely pedestrian now.

I'll play whatever suits the team and have the N7 destroyer and fury.  I don't host as my PC is overused and occasionally crashes, but I have the side panel off so it's not too hot today and I found disabling my secondary monitor helps as well

Origin ID is my username, usually I'll give priority in games to my regular squad as we're friends IRL, but when they're away...

Hey, I'm afraid that I don't have a mic, so I'm perhaps no use for this. But I largely play silver, occasionally gold, and would be happy to take orders from other people with mics :) Would be fun to have a team to play with, feel free to add me: Pelonas on origin

I play mostly Silver and extract about 95% on it (really the only time I ever fail is if I get insta-killed by the ridiculous "Banshee murders you from 800 feet away" thing and I've been carrying a few guys through the later levels, or if we get a stupid Geth objective and the game just goes nuts with the spawns again (really? Five hunters, four pyros, four rocket launchers and a Geth Prime all right there?))

I'll play Gold every now and then, I'm fine at it, it's just too stressful for me to be really fun. So I'll do a Gold here and there, but it's mostly Silver. I tend to play PUGs, but if and when some of my buddies are on, I'll play with them (and they all rock, so if you join us, it's basically playing in easy mode.)

Feel free to add me anytime. I can always use more peeps to play Silver with. =]

You could try reinstalling Origin, but you can be invited into games without having to enable Origin IN game. :)

Checking the box:  "Enable Origin in-game" (Origin Applications > In Game), makes it impossible for me to start any Origin games up.

You can check out the Legion Effect: Great group of people that work together, have fun and where always happy to help each other out. Or simply talk about whatever topic that is on hand on the legion irc channel. ( #TheLegionEffect ) .

For more information then just click on my sig to get directed to the legion group here on bsn.

I'm running silver a lot these days because I don't trust public Gold matches at the moment. Wasted tons of medigel for nothing last time I played it. So, hit me up, I also host a lot (Europe, Slovenia) if that's not a problem for ya.

If I'm in the mood for Vanguarding, I'll host, but since I have a good connection and you speak english that shouldn't be a problem. (Canada)

I mostly play gold with people I met on the forums or in random matches, but I do enjoy silver.

Always up for a speedy silver. I also like playing gold with full biotic, full tech, or smash/slash teams. I don't have a mic though, so it's tougher for me to set those up.

I'm very happy this thread has gotten so much attention! Makes me feel like troubleshooting a little bit to get Origin to work. In any case, I hope everyone here is able to find people to play with.

Disable in-game Origin, and then make Mass Effect 3 run in Windows (Borderless) instead of Fullscreen.

Assuming your status is Online when you launch the game (Invisible will not let you invite friends no matter what), once you have your lobby set up, alt+tab (or use the windows start key) and open your friends list. Click the little triangle by their names and invite that way.

Work around, but I know of no solution. I personally never have Origin in-lay on because it won't let me type in it or use it anyways.

Very valuable tip! This has helped a lot: thanks!
