I got Biotrolled again with another Wraith. (Five times, still no Harrier).

This is an ultra rare weapon? It's a peashooter shotgun that tickles enemies on Silver, let alone Gold or Plat.

The Wraith needs a serious buff.

I kill with the Wraith, what mods are you using? I use EB and shredder mod with incendiary ammo. Works fine with my SalEng, BatSol and N7 Paladin. I combo with it too. BallBlad, fire 2 shots, reload. If the shotgun doesn't kill, the blades do. Or Energy Drain, fire two shots, reload. Works good for me, but I also aim to get max damage.

I get three ultra rares repeatedly:

Saber: Meh
Scorpion: Good
Wraith: Garbage

I'm missing all the other UR's.

It's an UR, it should be gold/platinum viable, so sure, buff it.

I wish I had a wraith V-X. :/ Mines still only at II, so outclassed by the talon at the moment.

That's the trouble, it's hard to level it up and it is outclassed by many other things at low levels.

I swear it's recently been nerfed. I stopped playing for a month or so until Earth DLC, and before that It was easy to 1SK Nemesis(eseseseseses) on gold with a headshot - now it doesn't even take off all of their shields :s

Wraith is UR and Piranha is rare? Frankly, I don't know how BW rate the weapon rarity. It's like the original Krysae relased as a rare weapon when it's spec was UR. I have been spending 5 months to get Wraith3 and it's overshadowed by Piranha X which I got in 3 days.

Buff the Wraith + Buff it some more since I got no reason to use it over Piranha/Talon.

The wraith should be a rare weapon and left as is (Because the talon does almost the exact damage per pellet, basically just a sawn off wraith) Or Keep it a UR, give it and the eviserator some innate armor piercing/ignore (Not a lot, but enough to follow it's description in game) A small damage or RoF boost wouldn't be out of place either.

The problem with the wraith for most people is that it is a tweener. Not enough damage to compete with the claymore, and not enough shots in a mag at all.

Me personally, I see it as a claymore that has it's total damage spread across 2 shots instead of 1. Just in case I miss, I can still kill any non boss unit in one headshot.

I wouldn't mind a small buff on the Wraith, but that doesn't mean it's garbage.
The gun is better than a lot of people give it credit for.

i just want to add that it weighs a lot less than a claymore.  i would like a slight rate of fire increase. it seems it takes too long before it shoots the 2nd shot but it has a fast reload time though.  i used to run this on my infiltrators but i prefer the talon now.

You're doing it wrong if you can't get it to work on Silver. I use it on my QFE and I can one shot some things with it. And Cryo Blast with radius upgrade makes headshots super easy.

My only problem with the Wraith is it feels like you need three mods for it to really shine. Smart choke, shredder, and barrel. If it was more accurate or had innate penetration it would be awesome. Right now it's competing with the Talon which has similar accuracy without needing a mod and lower weight.

Wraith is one of my favorite guns. But sure, go ahead and buff it. No skin off my nose.

I use the Wraith a lot and its serviceable as a caster shotgun (justicar for me). I tried it on my Kroguard and was disappointed though. Then I tried the Piranha and feel in love. In light of that, it definitely deserves a buff to bring it atleast up to par with the Piranha.

I think the only time you'll feel the Wraith really packs a punch is using it as the Human Soldier. Shooting 2 shells then popping Adrenaline Rush to pump another 2 really makes all the difference especially in taking down hard targets like primes (after killing their shields). I got sick of mainstream Claymores and the Wraith really feels like a viable replacement, paired with its awesome reload speed.

I don't meen to sound patronising but you can't be using it right if that's what you think.

The Wraith is a hybrid-caster's weapon. It's for classes that combine powers with weapons. They need something stronger than your typical pistols, but lighter than the Claymore. The Wraith fits that position.

The best class I've found for it is the Batarian Soldier. Mine is only at III, but it's already a fantastic weapon. I wouldn't use it at I, it's just pointless then, and probably 2 as well, but by III it's a great choice.

You must be doing something wrong, because I kill plenty of mobs with it and it's lighter than my geth plasma shotgun, so It's my go-to shotgun if I'm a caster. With Adrenaline Rush, it does about as much damage as the Claymore (if not more) and is more accurate and it has two shots per clip.

Sure, it's not that good against the armored bosses, but I think it's good enough against pretty much everything else.

i love the waith on my baterian soldier. the waith on a destroyer with increased rof is pretty nice. but it does need a buff...

disrespecting the sabre is just silly
