Hey guys, few more questions as I try to remember ME1 techniques.
- How useful is Neural Shock? Wondering if First Aid and Medicine would be a huge waste.
-Does the bonus to pistol accuracy and damage from the Bastion tree stack with bonuses from Pistols if you take it as your bonus power?
- How many points is neccesary in Stasis? Seems like if you max Bastion you don't need stasis to have a huge duration. 12-13 seconds is plenty to stun and then kill an enemy right?
Any general build advice...so far my idea would look something like this.
Lift - Master
Throw - Advanced
Pistols - Master
Barrier - Advanced
Electronics - Master
Decryption - Master
Bastion - Maxed
Stasis - 1 Point and then add more later to help cooldown maybe
Charm 4-8 depending on what I'm feeling like.
Maybe a few points into first aid.
Spectre - 4
Thanks for the help all.

Stasis is an all or nothing power, and only all if you go bastion.
Even with that, I can only think of three instances where Stasis would be useful
Thresher maws (on foot)
Krogan Chargemasters (lift works just aswell, if not better.)
The final boss.
It has to be maxed in order for you to be able to damage the enemy through it if I remember correctly, and that's 2 x 12 points (bastion maxed, stasis maxed).
Personally, I'd forego it and put the remaining points into charm, throw and barrier in that order.

I will try to answer your questions as best I can:
(1) Neural Shock (Medicine) is decent, but has a very short duration. You need the Medic passive instead of Bastion to make it better. Bastion is recommended. It will drop all organics for a brief period (base 1-3 or 1-5 seconds; I cannot remember) and provide a poisoning effect which will prevent enemy health regeneration. Great against Krogans. Its cooldown is punishing though, 45s base I think?
Medicine reduces the cooldown of First Aid. By late game, though, you will probably not be using First Aid a whole lot. Biotics are generally better at disabling enemies, so you may be better with just 1 point First Aid, 0 Medicine and using Singularity as a bonus power if you have it unlocked.
(2) Bastion only affects biotic talents if I recall, so it does not help your pistols in any way.
(3) If you have maxed Bastion, even the duration of 1-point stasis should be long enough to kill something in Stasis as long as you shoot it immediately. Saving your points for other (better) talents is recommended. Lift can disable multiple enemies at once, while Stasis can disable only one enemy at a time. Mind you, the extra duration of Advanced and Master is great for enemies who have already activated Immunity.
(4) The build looks good. You need 12 Charm total to pass all checks. You get 4 free if you choose enough Paragon options.

You can't take pistol as a bonus power. The 150 kill bonus for pistol is an increase in the duration of marksman. So you can either take a different weapon talent or reallocate those points. Be careful about taking a non weapon bonus, this can lead to the power wheel bug. Where if you have 10 talents that can be activated your bonus won't show up on the power wheel.
Sniper rifle makes for a decent bonus if you run that way. Another good bonus is to take singularity and skip neural shock.

Oh Really no pistol bonus power? thats weak. Guess it would be AR then.
Shoulda been more clear I meant the first 6 points which go into Sentinel and effect pistol accuracy and dmg. I just realized that those stop increasing after you evolve to Bastion.
I wonder if any weapon trees is really neccesary. I could always just take singularity. It seems like Sentinels are not nearly as point starved as Vanguards.

Here's a post I talked about my ME1 Sentinel, which ended up being my most fun ME1 playthrough so far. It's quite a bit different then your planned build, but there are some similarities.
As for Neural Shock, it can be good but as a Sentinel you always have better powers to use.
Eventually I took Stasis to advanced, and then master. I believe I took Bastion to 12 inbetween. Stasis is a great power for the same reasons as other biotics: it detains enemies allowing you to focus on the ones still mobile and shooting at you. The long duration is great for taking specific enemies out of the larger fights. Maxed Bastion trivalizes encounters with heavies like Krogan, even Thresher Maws.
Lift is used similarily to Stasis. Of course fun atmo launches can be had with a well placed Throw. Lift can also suspend Geth Colossi. Master Sabotage is the good to AoE disable against synthetics, both Geth and Turrets/Drones. Overload is a damn near always useful AoE debuff.
Bastion Sentinels are the most durable non-Immunity class, plenty of shields due to coupling with Barrier with Electronics. Of course I liked the buffer but my Shep was also going for close quarters shotgun kills post- mid game.
