By that I mean I have the ME2 and 3 symbol under my profile pic, but I'm sure a lot of fans (or maybe just me) would like to be able to show that we've played the original Mass Effect. Why isn't there the possiblity to redeem it? Is it because it isn't affiliated with EA?
Why can't we redeem our Mass Effect 1 Game?

agreed, i would love the mass effect symbol just as you , especially since i own it on xbox and pc as well. and if you think that's frustrating then what do u think of having dragonage + ME1-2 and 3 on multiple platforms and only having 1 symbol of each
nonetheless it's perfectly fine as it is but i would love a ME1 symbol to let everyone know i was there! ^-^

Yeah, and people could get the wrong idea of being new at Bioware games when some people actually played all three. And I have to say you've played lots of BW games!

The original Bioware-site was fubar'd by outside influence a few years ago and rather than repairing the wreckage, Bioware declared the old site a totall-loss, dried their tears and moved on.
Mass Effect was part of the old site.

But I mean they couldn't just add a little box to put our game code and have an icon pop up? That's a bit lazy :/

It'd be nice, agreed, but it's not much of a surprise that they're not interested in recreating a registration system for what's now a fairly old game. And then there'll be people who've lost the code for their game which means more calls to support without new sales producing revenue in return. As a player I want it, but if it was my company I probably wouldn't either. I suppose you could always Pshop it into your avatar if you really wanted.Zuzu Mumu wrote...

its frustrating as hell not being able to register ME 1 on origin, I have the original disks and bought games. Would be nice to have all in one place and yes an icon under my name too

Thinking of that, does anyone recommend repurchasing all three games + DLC on PC? I have them on console but PC offers a really different experience.

Do you think they'd make it a red box with a 1 or go with something cooler? The red box would fit what they already have for ME 2 & the other one. Also would like to have them for KotOR & Jade Empire.

I would expect them doing a planet with ME written in it.
True KOTOR and Jade Empire would be fun to have redeemable.
