Anderson no longer being on the council.

^This^ without even a vague explanation. I was like, wut? Then later... Councillor Udina? WTF?! I shouldn't have to read a codex to understand what the shizz is going on.

When I saw Barbie-Ashley. How in the..? What happened to the tomboy who liked to play with assault rifles? Big hair? Botox lips? Make-up? A mini-skirt? Shep's been smoking crack, right?

And then the entire Vancouver sequence. I had a bad feeling they were going to pull some crap like that at the end of Arrival when Hackett comes to see you on the Normandy though. I had a bad feeling there when he said 'When earth calls you be there with your dress blues on ready to take the hit...'

I distinctly recall my femshep ruthless colonist soldier thinking 'they were batarian scum.'
I also recall my femshep ruthless engineer cerberus sympathiser thinking, 'meh, acceptable alien casualties and screw the alliance.'
I had a bad feeling when I wasn't given any opportunity to voice either of these attitudes which I thought would be quite understandable.

It all went down hill from there.

This.

It just reduced one major decision of ME1 to... nothing. Pretty sad. :( I mean why do I have to listen to the Council complaints about extinction of a race.. when it seems entirely impossible to actually extinct them?

It makes for a pretty funny moment when Kaidan says he hopes the geth don't have the Rachni's playbook, though.

Is it just me, or Ashley always had quite big lips?
On topic
I think in february, when I downloaded demo. I was surprised that there were no trial.

Talking about "big lips"... Samantha Traynor always made me laugh. I think they tried too hard to appeal to male audience. Especially, when you look from a side.

Bahaha, especially when she's supposed to be a lesbian choice...

Ashley always did have large lips, yes, but it looks like she got attacked by a beehive in ME3.

The lack of a trial at the beginning. They teased it so much in Arrival and it just never happened.

Oh, and people STILL not being prepared for the Reapers.

The first chunk of the game, when I thought "Shepard is talking WAY too much". Seriously, what were they thinking with the auto-dialogue?

The entire intro sequence was just mediocre, I didn't have a clue what was going on at all.
And then a dreadnought gets shot down after being in the air for a matter of seconds, yet the Normandy doesn't and I had a full on conversation with Andy....

Very true.  I was thinking "Um...why can't I say something?  Why is Shepard talking on his own?  I didn't tell him to say anything.  This is a roleplaying game still isn't it?"

And that's where you were wrong. ME3 is no longer an RPG and more an animated storybook with a few pretty colours at the end. Mass Effect just turned point and click.

the really annoying thing is i was really marking out when i first met vent boy and his 'you cant help' attitude... i thought it wasa really sweet shout out to Newt/Aliens ... and i loved it... then the shuttle... and not so much... then the dream... and pah... this is not a sweet, sweet reference... this is... WTF is this???

Believe it or not, I didn't notice anything wrong until floating up to the Catalyst.

I was on too much of a high from playing the final game to notice its other flaws. Now, on my SECOND playthrough...

Same.

On my 2nd playthrough, when EDI told Shepard about the reapers wanting to negotiate with Earth's leaders, Shep's response alarmed me. "Anybody aboard a reaper is gonna be indoctrinated." to which EDI replies: "Correct."

I fearfully asked aloud: "Wait...then...then what's stopping Shepard?"

So, did everyone really realize something was wrong with the game way in the beginning? I feel so slow now.

To be honest, I didn't really notice anything 'wrong' with the game until the Citadel assault came up after Tuchanka, when I figured out Cerberus was attacking, that one mission broke every little bit of immersion or SoD I had built up to that point, merely because I couldn't stop thinking 'this seems like something the Reapers should be doing...'

the part where the kid came in. the whole bit is just ****** poorly written and i remember thinking "oh **** they are not going to make this a nihilistic sob story are they". i could put that and a lot of stuff behind me but the moment when the VI on thes said there was someone "behind" the reapers i knew things had go to hell.

I don't get the crap about Ashley. It's stupid. So what if she lets her hair down when not in armor? She looks nearly the exact same... get some glasses.

Agreed.
The moment I got control of Shep, I had to go through the options and see if I was somehow playing on action mode because of how much autodialogue there was.

Then, Liara's "I've discovered plans for a Prothean device..." comment on Mars sounded a few warning alarms.  I think I spent about half of the game figuring that the Crucible would end up being some kind of trap. Whoops.

First "hang on" moment?

...

Logging on here at any giving time and seeing the retarded amounts of vitriol directed towards BioWare staff and other users over unimportant opinions and so-called disappointment from disgruntled gamers who had a vision of ME3 set within stone in their heads and flew so far off the handle when it was different from that pre-set status quo.

The amount of people who feel personally betrayed by BioWare is absolutely insane. What's worse is the fact that they vent there misplaced anger here on BSN.

I can't even stand to post here anymore as any positive thing I say earns me 15 people telling me how wrong I am with their arrogant "facts" as to why. If I try to debate, I am met with hate.

That was my first "you have to be kidding me" moment.
