How would I balance GI and Destroyer.

The reason why there are SO many weapon nerf theads and the reason why we can't have powerful weapons is because GI and Destroyer makes them INSANE. It's just a fact. Any good weapon becomes godly in their hands because of the damage, accuracy and ROF buffs they have.
Now I'm not asking for a nerf here.
I think Bioware's idea with the Geth is that they supposed to use Geth weapons. That's why they gave them geth weapon boosts - fine. Reduce the general damage boosts of Hunter mode to all weapons and put them to Geth ones to encourage the usage of Javelin, GPS, GPSMG and GPR. All of these weapons have some kind of drawback and the damage boosts from Hunter mode won't make them OP.
Destroyer. He's suppose to be a walking turret. Meaning rapid fire weapons. So make his weapon damage boosts that he gets from Devastator mode apply ONLY to Assault Rifles.

Yeah. He can still be awesome with all weapons. His passives would give him damage boosts. But Devastator mode would only apply to AR's.

That's not gonna happen. Bioware will either nerf weapons badly (like Krysae) or characters (like Infiltrators)

Seems to me that I recall there being turrets that use flamerthrowers and missiles in this game... Walking turret can mean ANYTHING.

The Destroyer and the GI are weapons platforms.
They're supposed to take whatever weapon you give them and make them godly.
They're WEAPON SPECIALISTS.
Not DEBUFFERS...
Not CASTERS...
WEAPON SPECIALISTS.
Asking for a nerf because it's godly is like me asking for the Fury to be nerfed because she BE's everything before I can even get a shot in or nerfing the Destroyer because she's flinging more grenades then earthly possible.
You're asking for classes/specialties to NOT do what they're advertised to do or limit them in unreasonable means.
The rule is Puff Puff PASS. Not hogging it.

See Turian soldier making weapons more accurate is fine. He doesn't get general damage boosts. And marksman is a CD power. Not perma-on. And he either has to go for accuracy or ROF. Not both.

Charge it before cloaking. You won't even break cloak after you fire that way. Enjoy.
