I'm a bit at loss with the conclusion of Hawke's story, some people
might not care about Hawke as they do for the Warden but I do stiil care
for Hawke. The Exalted March was cancelled so that rules out Hawke
story being finished in DA2 (that's if it was going to finish the
story), so will it be finished in DA3, or is it stiil up for debate at
Bioware?

Bioware have yet to give any details on DA3, so no one knows other than them.

We still don't know what happened to the Warden after Origins, or what killed Maric, Malcom Hawke, and etc.

Hmmm...as far as the Warden is concerned, I am more than content not to see her again. She will stay in Ferelden, with her Alistair, rule the country and try as hard and often as they can to produce an heir, that is material for my headcanon enough...ahem...the last part...ignore it...

As for Hawke...I liked her, but I never got that attached to her as I did to my Warden(s). If she appears again in DA3, alright, why not as an NPC? Might be fun and unusual too, to have a former protagonist as follower...? Though then they better have a good save and face import function, he default-Hawkes are an absolute no-go!

But if Hawke's story is finished and won't be addressed in DA3 anymore, I wouldn't mind either...at least she didn't have to turn everyone into magical cyborgs in her end, so her story was finished on a high note I dare to say...

its all up in the air atm, they havent released anything. Personally I wouldnt care if Hawke got drunk, then fell off a pier and drowned. Havent played a game where I disliked the protagonist as much as I dislike Hawke in ages.

Finding out what happened to the warden however... that would be interesting to me Although I am clearly biased as my Ideal DA3 would bring the Warden back as the pc... sadly I know that wont happen.

Would be nice if DA3 let you create your protagonist (race/background etc) like they did in DA:O... however we will probably get another boring human only PC with a set in stone background... Hawke 2.0... ftl

Just so you know Female Wardens DO NOT BECOME BROODMOTHERS!!!  Darkspawn use women that are UNTAINTED. Please go look up the codexes on the wiki  ....the info is there!!! <_<

Broodmother is advanced female ghoul + Grey Wardens become ghouls. = Female Grey Wardens will become ghouls as well, then advance to the broodmother stage.

There was also an idea put forward about Female Wardens not going on the calling because if they got captured by the Darkspawn instead of killed, they would be turned into broodmothers.

From what you can infer from Hespith's chat, yes that fate *can* happen to any female they capture, Warden or not. They "Fill them with the taint" Take that in the most squicky way possible, they basically rape them constantly, forcing them to ingest the taint.. well.. everywhere.

The eating of the others is more for breaking their minds, and to force them to eat even more flesh tainted with darkspawn essance. I would think most, if not all, female Wardens will have a quick kill option availible either a poison capsule, or maybe a small dagger to slit a artery. While they can survive the Joining, and master the modified taint inside them, that doesn't mean they'll survive constant torture and massive ingesting of undiluted Darkspawn blood... among other fluids.

I think female grey wardens just turn into ghouls like the male grey wardens if they dont die before the taint takes over. Think female grey wardens over run the risk of being turned into broodmothers just like other female if they keep being filled with darkspawn fluids (think thats the polite way of putting it), it might just take longer and more
fluids to change them.

Grey Wardens are not immune to the Taint. After all, it eventually kills them.

I think she is refering to this. Gaider says there you make a broodmother by artificially accelerating the taint. Wardens, at least ones going on their calling have been tainted for years, so it seem the process wouldn't work on them. And then Gaider implies even if you did turn a Warden into a broodmother, she couldn't reproduce anyway.
