How do I use my created character from the CC on the PS3??

You can't. It is only for the PC version.

I'm not sure if this will work but I'm gonna re-create my character on ps3 creator and upload it from there.  Hopefully this will enable us to get the rings, too.

I asked if PS3 users are eligble for the Lucky Ring if we upload our character through the PS3 but I do not see the thread.



You guys know if PS3 users can get the Lucky Ring?

The downloaded "Character Creator" is PC only (only version that gives the Ring). "The Lucky Stone" ring reward for uploading character/s onto the Socialnetwork is for all platforms. So you can get the ring to use for you PS3 or 360, you just can't use the character you uploaded with CC.

I used the CC and uploaded three characters while waiting for the game to be released. I bought the PS3 version and made a new character. I still got the ring.

Yes, the lucky ring is available to all versions.

I still have not gotten my ring. It's getting to be a bit frustrating. I uploaded 2 characters via the Creator and bought the PS3 version. I would really like to get my hands on the ring. The situation is making it really hard for me to want to play the game right now.

Stryxrecon, when you check your online profile do you see your characters yet? I had some characters update in 10 minutes, others 10 hours. If they don't show up yet I would recommend logging out completely, starting the CC, logging in through the CC, and hitting the upload a few times on each character, give it a few minutes then closing the CC, log back in to your profile and see if anything took. Then start you game and see if your ring is waiting for you.

i have the game but have not started yet. i want to no about the cc & how to i get the blood dragon armor. do i do it on my coumputer first then update it from my ps3. also what about the lucky stone/ ring. i have a code i will chare EN-FR-RU-PL-ES-IT-CZ-HU-DE i hope this helps. When did you upload the characters?  I think it may take some time for everything to synch up.  When i first installed the game my DLC wasn't there even though I'd already entered my codes.  Later that night everything was available for me to download.

Did you use the same email for your PSN account as you did for your Bioware account?  If you used two different emails then the issue may be that the system can't identify you as the same user.

The only other thing I can think of is that my DLC happened to appear after I registered the game with EA online.  But that may have been coincidence as I hadn't checked to see if the content was available immediately before registering the game.  I waited until afterward.

I hope any of this is actually helpful.  I have a sinking feeling that it won't be.

First start the game on your PS3.
To redeem:
1. From the Dragon Age: Origins Main Menu, select "Downloadable Content"
2. Log in with your BioWare/EA Online Account
3. Select "Redeem Code"
4. Follow the on-screen instructions
*Code expires April 30, 2010.*

Next
1. Goto  "http://dragonage.bioware.com/addon/"
2. Select the "Dragon Age Character Creator Download Now" on the right of the page.
3. Install Charater Creator
4. Create a character (don't spend too much time with it, can't use it on the PS3)
5. On the last page, don't select done, make sure you are logged in to your EA account.
6. Under the character portrait is an "Upload" button, select that.
7. Select done and close the Character Creator.
8. From the Dragon Age: Origins Main Menu, select "Downloadable Content"
9. Scroll through all your Downloads and you should see "The Lucky Stone" ring, if not give it more time.
