Catalyst: We need to stop organics and synthetics from killing each other. There will always be conflict between the two.

Me: But, uh, everytime robots have attacked, it's been because of you guys.

Catalyst: ...nuh uh...

Me: You totally made the Geth go to war agains us back with Saren and Sovereign and that whole thing. AND, my boy Javik tells me that his cycle had robots attacking them as well AND that they attacked because you guys dicked around with them and turned them loose on organics.

Catalyst: The cycle must end!

Me: YOU'RE THE ONES CREATING THE CYCLE, ****! Just stop it! Stop f***ing trying to kill everybody already!

Catalyst: Shepard! You must make a choice! You must create a new solution!

Me: You're not even listening are you?

Shepard: What do I have to do?

Me: Oh, for f***s sake Shepard, really?

Catalyst: You can choose to destroy us-

Me: Yes, I will take that one.

Shepard: What else you got?

Me: Shut the f*** up Shepard.

Catalyst: You can choose control! Take over the Reapers, bend them to your will.

Me: Destroy. I pick destroy.

Shepard: So the Illusive Man was right all along?

Me: The f***? Didn't I just tell you to shut up Shep? You're rambling like a lunatic man. I think your brain is falling out or something.

Catalyst: Yes, but he was already controlled by us, so it didn't work.

Me: Destroy. Stop talking and let me destroy you.

Catalyst: There is also a new solution. Something never seen before.

Me: Uh huh. That's GREAT. Destroy. I pick destroy.

Shepard: Tell me about the new solution!

Me: SHEPARD! SHUT YOUR MOUTH!

Catalyst: You will join your essense with the galaxy, combining synthetics with organics, creating a perfect understanding and unity between all life, and a new step in the evolution of everything.

Me: Cool, that sounds pretty insane. I'm going to go ahead and forget you ever told me that, and choose, oh I don't know, destroy?

Catalyst: The choice is yours.

Me: Yeah, the choice laid out by you. Enough of this. This is all bull****. Shepard! Shoot the kid!

Shepard: *bang*

Catalyst: OH NO YOU DIDN'T!

Me: OH YES I DID!

Shepard: What now?

Me: I dunno... Let's watch. And stop drooling, Shepard!

...

Liara: Hi! I hope whoever finds this recording will do better than we did. We shot the hologram. Don't do that, ok. Just pick destroy.

Me: Damn right. Man, what an ending Mark.

Lurked here since ME3 release. First post ever. Talk about a bad first impression? Anyways, if anybody sees this before it gets locked: Hi! I hope everyone is having a great summer so far.
The formatting is weird on this board.

Ok, that is all. Just wanted to say hi.

Lmao. That's funny.

Catalyst: "Oh, no you didn't!"

Priceless.

And welcome WindFishDude!

Catalyst: Is fire at war?

Me: Are you comparing a chemical reaction of exothermic heat to your justification of the killing of trillions?

reality stranger than fiction. Especially when a decision is base on fiction as part of any reality. But then video games are real, the decisions are the ones the don't mean anything, even hypothetically. But I digress, reveling in cognitive dissonance can be entertaining and educational as well.

superstorms are incouraged by global warming? True or false?
satire works better with a just a touch of tongue in cheek?
lol

Awesome. Welcome to the forums. You have captured the essence of many peoples' discontent. The autodialogue is a pain in the arse.

I was so confused when I first got up there, I chose Synthesis because becoming a cyborg sounded cool. Completely forgot about destroying the Reapers.

...Becoming a cyborg still sounds cool.

I am greatly amused by this. And it summarizes what I felt going through the non-EC ending as well.

I shot him the first time too because I was so irritated with all his nonsense. I was not expecting that, you know, it would actually do anything. And then I reloaded and picked Destroy again. Destroy destroy destroy!

Did not expect such a warm welcome from such a gimmicky thread.

And they say these forums are full of haters...

This pretty much sums what I said and did in the first EC playthrough. I shot him too just because I was upset he was still in the game giving me 3 bad choices.

I liked your thoughts and comments on the entire EC with the AI child. Frankly it was bullsh** what they did.
