So, I could play MP last night.  It was a load of fun.

I go to log on today, and anytime I click multiplayer, it sits there spinning at Loading for a good two to three minutes, then I get the message that I have lost connection to the EA servers.

Now, on teh home screen, I have Load Failed for Galaxy at War, but I lists me as conencted.  I have no trouble with my DLCs.  I just verifiyed bu Extended Cut ending was working by shooting the Starchild in the face.

I have disabled UPNP.  Enabled it.  Rebooted the router.  No dice.

Added port forwarding for every port I can find on these forums and the offical side (6000,3659 and 5659).  Just to be safe, I did it for TCP and UPD.  I also turned off my virus scanner and my windows firewall.

I have unintalled ME3, deleted all files, and reinstalled it.  (Painful, since I had to download it again).

I have uninistalled Origin, deleted all files, and reinstalled it.

Checked my host files, no ea entries.  I even tried adding an EA entry!'

I've rebooted my router, my cable modem and my computer more times today than I have in a month.

At my wits end here.  It worked before this weekend event started.. why did it fail now? :(

Yeah seems like more people are having the exact same problem (including me). Dunno if they're Severs are just really messed up right now or what. Interesting side note: It kind of started for me with the beginning of Operation Overwatch

I have the exact same problem as well and it has to do with the operation weekend since I have no issue with multiplayer before.

On another thread someone mentioned it may have to do with the operation welcome/message screen that's causing a hang up of sorts. I suspect that this may be the culprit since I had the exact same problem the previous last operation weekend and it seems to fix itself if you get AND click through the operation weekend message screen.

This time I haven't even seen the message screen. On that same thread it was also mentioned having a friend invite you into their multiplayer game through Origin as a way to bypass the welcome screen issue. I want to try this but so far none of the friends I have on Origin are on.

It's because of this weekend's operation, you are supposed to see operation description screen but it doesn't work (sometimes I can see it after 2 minutes of waiting). Try to get in multiplayer by joining someone in your friend list, even if you get "game is full" message you will bypass the loading screen. No need for invite just select anyone currently in the game and click join.

I'm getting the same problem too, it the third time I can't connect to multiplayer when a big event is on since I've downloaded the extended cut DLC, any solutions anyone?

Yeah, I've been wanting to try that to see if it fixes the problem, but don't have anyone on Origin that's playing ME3 MP at all to help.

Ok, I finally got a friend to help via Origin and it DOES work. If you can't connect to MP (long loading screen wait then "You can't connect..." message), ask a friend to start up a MP game and invite you or join any friend's MP game. Doesn't matter if it's full game or not.
