Hey guys. I just got dragon age and really want to start playing. The problem is that I am in the process of building a gaming rig and will finish it in a few weeks. The rig will have no internet connection (to keep spyware/viruses out) so I am wondering if I start playing now on my current PC if I will be able to save the game to a flash drive or something and use it on my internet-free gaming rig. Thanks for the help.
Transfer saved game to a new computer?

just copy the saved games dir in your My Documents folder

Yes, you will also need some files from the character folder I believe.

I would say just back up the entire C:\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\Documents and Settings\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\user name\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\My Documents\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\BioWare
folder then just put most things in the same folder that should get created on install on the other PC
minus any system information/settings type files or folders you can find there from the old pc
the above was based on where my stuff is in XP using the non DL version of the game maybe you could add more info like operating sytem & game version EG: steam or retail etc to get more specific directions

Its the retail version of the game, hard copy, and it is XP.

I had a little problem that made me uninstall (including saves just in case they got corrupted)then reinstalled the game put the saves + DLC Mods screenshots etc back from the backup i had in D: so it should work just fine in your case as well the stuff to move is easy to spot

when i want to load my old game i cant load it, cuz i need to login the retail owner account in order to play the expansion i have installed ... but i DID loged with my account
