Nope it can't. Besides video games are as much as art as monopoly is.
Monopoly can be considered a satirical note on modern consumerism and a practice in decadence by means of consumption. So an arguement can be made that monopoly is an audience fueled art piece. Much like interactive theater.

I've read before where you said you were an artisan and studied art. So I wasn't second guessing your opinion. I do think any relevance pop art has exists in the time it was made. But I do agree that it's "simplicity" in crafting does leave it open to exploitation.
