It disproves IT. As well as God, UFOs/Ancient Aliens, and the Loch Ness Monster.

Except for how the VS was handled. That was one of the good things they changed, other things...

They removed playable squadmates, the ability to control garrus like in dragonage. And the choice to save both ashley and kaiden.
This doesn;t surprise me, though how similar the ending was to the current one is interesting.

Still, what a scatterbrained mess this trilogy turned out to be.

Then we might as well cut them off our wallets.xsdob wrote...
Bioware seems to make a habit of cutting good ideas, even in ME1.
Whaaat? Where/When?They removed playable squadmates, the ability to control garrus like in dragonage.
Thats exactly what happens when you change the story/writers midway through. Plenty of inconsistencies for everyone!Soltana wrote...

Sometimes deleted scenes are better than anything in the film.
**** happens. Although **** seems to literally fly out of the cutting room floor at Bioware sometimes.

and the endings in this plot actually sounds better than these endings

True dat. Started out really well, ME2's character stories carried it a little bit further, but everything just fell apart at ME3. Such a shame.
Well, let's hope to God that Assassin's Creed 3 sticks a solid ending to its trilogy. I mean, things can't get much worse than this, right?

If their hands were forced by the leak, then it's just sad.
Shepard became one with the reapers was one of the options? Interesting.
The sad thing is the leak didn't have to force anything. A good company would not have worried about the leak. A lot of people would never have read the leaked script and most wouldn't have cared because they would have wanted to see what happens and how you get there.
The thing is back in Feb Walters was almost gleeful that the galaxy would end up a wasteland after ME3. His exact words, a wasteland. I don't know when the script was leaked, but as of Feb he intended that all endings lead to a destroyed galaxy.
I think they just didn't know how to end it or how to write it and even Walter said people wanted them to get rid of the original endings and write something else and they wouldn't know how to write that. Well of course not because no one had used it in another story before. The original endings we got were from other stories and games. For them to write anything different, someone else would have had to write it first.
I think they did try to pin blame on the leak, but they do that kind of thing a lot.

I just can't believe Bioware would plan this thing so poorly. The general layout for the entire trilogy is supposed to be set in stone BEFORE YOU EVEN RELEASE THE FIRST GAME.
Who says? Had Bio even thought of Irenicus before releasing BG1?

IIRC one of the early gameplay demos had that feature.
Happy to see it go, myself.

They have done good till now. I think the main point is they didn't chop and change their story midway through.

Mega bad on the Thessia sacrifice...crawling on unstable floor to help, leaving the other to get to safety? Are you dooming your choice or saving him/her? Also do not like the dead Grunt either way.
The cover-fire from your team makes sense, they should've run with it. But hey, it looks like thay got a lot of good stuff from this one. Ending is still bad though...no mention of Geth/EDI?

Most of this stuff was just brainstormed and never even was cut.
And let the hypocrisy flow....
Before EA....
Bioware rushed the PC version of KOTOR, rushed Jade Empire, and definitely rushed ME1....please, copy and paste planets, the obvious beta that was the 360 version....
Nevermind the fact that ME3 had the same development time as ME2, nevermind the FACT that it released after its predecessor longer than ME2 was.
And the way they treated the VS here is terribad.

Yes why? Nothing wrong with controling Garrus or anyone else for a short period of time. Also, whatt game are we talking about? ME1,2 or 3?

Mass effect 1, you can see it here along with a cut mission.
Also this, which shows off another cut mission and destroyable enviroments.
