You know, there's a middle ground between it being fake and real. The OP could be a BW employee and this could be an intentional leak to test the waters (no pun intended). It would explain the high quality of the photoshop. A lot of people theorize that many of the leaks we get, especially the original script leak from the Xbox demo, were intentional.
I still firmly believe that Protheans were originally planned for MP. There's no reason they would've hidden Ex-Cerberus, and only Ex-Cerberus, under a fake name. One that hints strongly at Javik & Protheans. They even had the Prothean Laser Pointer in the DLC. But a lot of people hated the idea when it was leaked, so they went with boring screen shakers instead.

Well there's no sign of such weapon in the Earth-DLC .sfar.
You could just modify the weapon images as you like, then repack it and take pictures of the menus but getting ingame pictures would require 3D modelling.
Anyway, this looks cool. If it's fake, I'm disappoint. If it's real, neat-o.

Adding new content is a good thing, and they can make more money off those who spend loads of real money on the RNG just to get it. Reading from the description given, it may even be a charging type weapon (sonic blast) like the GPS, which would explain the higher damage..
Weapons have been hidden in DLC before. I wouldn't be surprised if this happened again.

Pretty sure my raptor fires faster than mattock. On pc though, so I'm using a mouse. The arc pistol is just showing its charged damage.
