Actually, a sonic shotgun would be pretty cool. Give it a narrow "line" area of effect (like .5m radius, 15m length), and inflicts the "panic" status opposed to stagger or knockdown, and gibs killed enemies.

Better yet, give it a mag cap and RoF/reload time of the eviscerator, and have it do something like 1,000 damage base with a 50-75% damage modifier against shields and barriers. That way it'll pulp anything that's down to health after passive and gear bonuses are added in, but be not that impressive against shields.

Touché. Somebody also mentioned that level 3 consumables should be silver-rimmed. Unless that only holds for ammo. I don't know about that.

I would assume the topic is about the gun, so even if we say "this gun looks like a phallus" it is still on topic, even if we have a 3 page long discussion about whether or not this looks like genitals.

Actually, that symbol only appears when you are selecting a weapon.

Well derrrrr. I'm talking about the creation of the picture. Everyone's making it sound so complicated. When it can be done quite easily. Opening and modding your Xbox? Just take a picture of your moniter? Remove the border of what ever progam you used to draw it, or just wallpaper it or something. No modding needed.

It would be interesting if BioWare had the community think up new weapons for implementiation etc. But I could see bad things happening. Though I could also see good things happening.

Same here...
But if a dev dismisses this by saying "We don't comment on rumors" instead of "This is totally fake" you can be sure that this weapon may have a bit of truth.
