Known glitch, but you shouldnt lick two asses at the same time.
That's funny because the developers designed the game with conversational options to allow the player the flexibility to "lick two asses at the same time". =)

However, this hasn't ever happened to me. Are you sure you talked to the woman who used to run for Jarvia and had her tell you about the finger bone keys?

Designed in general, yes, but the game explicitly tells you NOT to go to the other side.

Where does it say that? I think I missed it.

Of course, but do you trust BW's game still when aware it has quite a few game breaking bugs? Not to mention, pulling off two sides is a tricky and complicating matter, increasing your chances to bug somewhere.
I trust Bioware to fix it =D

The seconds of both candidates warn you during dialogue with them NOT to talk to the other side and, if you do so and then come back and tell them what the other side is accusing their patron of, they make it quite clear that they are unhappy and that you are jeapordizing your chances to win the loyalty of their patron. This is all in the dialogue.

I nearly bought the game for MAC instead of replaying it on PS3 cos I heard that version was better, but then I thought - 'why reward bioware for allowing dead ends in the storyline".
Hope they fix this.

it is strange, however, that I managed to do both missions on a previous character without incident.

However, it broke specializations.

This is very disappointing. I'm not touching Awakening or Mass Effect 2 for a very long time until I can be ensured that 1) they are stable and not as buggy and 2) this is fixed so that I can know supporting Bioware is smart.
