contrary to what people may think ,driving the mako on a pc is a piece of cake , you can even exit super massive canyons on a 85 degrees angle by sliding right left and making use of the gravity.

Same here.

Thanks,
It really is amazing how goood the Mako is on PC and how god-awful it is on Xbox. My renegade spacer spent a good couple of minutes spaming Carnage on it and driving it into lavapits.

I love the Mako, I love planet explorations. I hate scanning for minerals, and I absolutely despite scanning for war assets.

It was a great concept that wasn't executed as well as it could have been. Instead of scrapping it all together it should have just been fixed for Mass Effect 2. Unfortunately the inability of most fans to constructively criticize flaws guaranteed that the Mako would be scrapped all together.
The Mako should have returned in ME2 except being better integrated into missions and with better controls and terrain to operate on.
Manual mineral scanning shouldn't return however. That is just filler.

I prefer planet scanning over manual mineral scanning.

Unless we're talking Mako on rails, or at least in channels... like Noveria and that lava planet. Those were ok.

I loved the Mako; climbing up vertical cliff faces, goomba stomping enemies, blasting geth with the main canon and it took skill to drive effectively.
Skilled driving was rewarding.

The only viable use for a Mako is as a porta-potty. That's right. It can go any place, horribly and poorly. I can climb and jump, uselessly and painfully. But the good part, and the only good part, is the frequency with with it falls over, dumping the accumulated refuse out onto yet another boring landscape full of angular polygons.

i don't know what kinda mass effect you are playing but my ME1 mako has never had any problems , PC ftw
