You know what I would love to see it in action again maybe it would have a chance to take out a Reaper.

I would support the Mako returning, I loved driving that thing. Sure, sometimes it could be a real pain in the arse, but that's part of the fun. Beats the **** out of scanning planets from Orbit.

Does anyone miss the Mako and the manual resources scanning ?
Should Bioware bring the Mako back in future Mass Effect games?:innocent:

I vote YES!

Ya know, the time for this thread was in between ME1 and ME2 when there was complaint after complaint about how awful and terrible it was.

Now?  Far too little, and far too late.

I'm all for MAKO, or what it represents - planet exploration! It's so lacking in ME2 and absent in ME3, which sucks. I think ME1 was closest to this space opera feeling.

MAKO controls are fine, but the vehicle is much too light and this is the cause of its erratic behaviour. So I would welcome bringing back heavier, more stable MAKO.

Man i love the Mako, i really love, but Mass Effect is changed, this change was start in ME2,
Mass Effect 2 and Mass Effect 3 not have freeroming or operwolrd asset like Mass Effect 1,

for me is impossible put the Mako in ME3, not have planet\\location\\site for travel whit the Mako. sigh.

Bring it back? Sure if we have one mission where the entire goal is to never drive it and only plant a massive amount of explosives on it then I'm all for it. Otherwise leave that Moon Patrol nightmare out of anything.

Leviathan will feature the Triton, a mech that will explore the undersea. I suppose future DLC would feature more exploratory options, not necessarily the Mako, but something more context-appropriate.

+1 Love for the Mako.

I always loved that it was patterned after the BMP. Some customization or upgrades - I'm imagining a bit like the SR-2 upgrades in ME2's campaign - would be pretty cool but dang it the thing made sense. And I will also echo the uncharted planets were amazing. Grindy at times, but still fun and beautiful. They convey a sense of space that was lost - forever - when we transitioned entirely to cover based shooting.

Ugh, no thanks. I like the idea of the Mako, the idea being vehicle based exploration and combat, but even on the PC it was frustrating, poorly designed piece of junk. It didn't help that map design for most exploration areas was awful, with boring open spaces complimented with random bumps in the terrain which sent you flying for some stupid reason. Some of the MAKO bits were OK (Bring Down the Sky's outdoor stuff comes to mind) but even those alternated between being merely alright and being completely and utterly frustrating and stupid.

However, I would love to see vehicle based exploration. The explore-y bits in ME2: Overlord with the Hammerhead tank were really fun due to both better controls and better map design. So, that in a future ME game? Yes! Perhaps a heavily redisigned MAKO? Sure! The MAKO as it is in ME1 being used ever again? NO NO NO NO NO NO NO PLEASE BIOWARE NO!!!

Oy. I play on a pc and recently redid ME1 just to try to be sure I did everything. Driving the Mako over terrain was and is a pain. Sure, I like the IDEA of the mako, in practice not so much. The real problems only occur on rough terrain. Not so much the steep inclines, its the bounciness of it. It's like the mako is made of foam.

I liked the mako, but i prefer the Hammerhead. The Handling was easier and it could accually climb. The Mako, on the other hand, one good bounce climbing up a hill could just **** with everything you were trying to do.

contrary to what people may think ,driving the mako on a pc is a piece of cake , you can even exit super massive canyons on a 85 degrees angle by sliding right left and making use of the gravity.
I should know better i play ME1 on both the PC and xbox

I dont know what you playing but it isnt Mass Effect.

Pardon me but if you look at my Games Rankings you will see im a huge Mass Effect fan from the first one ti'll present , that being said now , you know what i am playing, which is Mass Effect Trilogy.
If you cannot control a mako that is your problem , however i can asure you that the mako is perfectly controllable by anyone especially on the pc. i don't know what You play , but i can assure you i am not playing ME3 for 4 months like you do. i am playing Mass Effect since 2007 and i know what im talking about.
Or should i make a printscreen showing you my registered Me1 , 2 and 3 on all available platforms just so u get clear on what "im playing" ? hmm how about that , infact , all i see registered for you is ME3 , so what would you know about the Mako or ME1 or what i am playing?

If they made a Mako-DLC, I'd buy two (one for PC, one for Xbox)! :)

well ME1 was out in 2007 , with the game engines they got today , i'm pretty sure everyone would love the mako and ask for new maps/planets to explore on a daily basis

That would actually be possible.  It's clear that the majority of the planets in ME1 were procedurally-generated, albeit manually touched up.

It could be like a downloadable daily quest from BioWare to explore some new planet.  It'd get boring in a few days, but like, each player would probably play a few days' worth.
