This thread is a great example in the highly varied opinions of gamers. All have validity (well, some do) but they can never agree and Bioware can not please them all.
i disagree

Also i liked to explore some uncharted worlds, the terrain may have been the same but each world had some really nice skies

For example, I enjoyed more how vehicles were used in Scrapland. You can move fast to a desired point or freely roaming around or bump into an unexpected events there. The fact that environment is visually diverse helps a lot too.
I can imagine if a Mass Effect game used a transport from LotSB as an available option. You could move above the city and watch it or be a part of traffic watching a behavior of other vehicles. Also, an option to skip the ride like in Jade Empire would be great (e.g. if you have taken that route many times already). It would be not necessary yet interesting part of game.
By the way, it's probably good to state I'm not a big fan of empty surroundings as in a lack of people and places with a purpose.

I'm replaying ME1 and God, the Mako is awful. Which should not be confused with planet exploration. I love landing on a planet and enjoying the vista, but the next minutes driving the mako are pure torture.

Thanks! I could really use a preview function for the posts, so I can avoid these mistakes.

Ah , exploration . To travel the stars , to see cataclysmic events with one's own eyes , to witness the creation of worlds and the cruel continuous distancing of space and matter and the start of new life in the most impossible of places is but a dream .A blurred dream compared to what's really out there. And it would not befront us if it wasn't so,.....so, beautiful.

Yes we need tanks - not hovering paper-armored insult to gunship but real tank
...because when you explore an unknown location having something that can't cross rivers or canyons is a great idea. I guarntee you that the MAKO loses in a fight with that paper gunship. That crappy gun that can't handle elevation changes on the MAKO would be a joy to use on a rapid moving target

For me, a vote for the Mako is basically a vote for the exploration aspect of ME1 that was missing in the latter two games. I would love to see a ME game based solely on a Star Trek-like element of exploration and discovery.
What exploration? You landed on a barren world with:
1. A crappy probe
2. A lost medal
3. That one building apparently re-used all over space.
4. Special rocks
I mean granted they captured the feel of exploring barren worlds (boring) but why would you inflict that nightmare on people w/o severe persoanlity disorders?

It's not even exploring; all those planets had already been charted by god-knows-how-many people before.
I wouldn't necessarily mind a game where we played someone who was exploring strange new worlds, but ME1 ain't that game.
