Which ME3 section did you choose at the start Story, Action, or RolePlaying?

this also counts when you go in options to check lol

If anyone picks action mode then they're playing the wrong game.

RP. Action should have never been in there at all.

I remember getting the choice from my imported game. Maybe I'm just indoctrinated?

I think thats where they screwed up, because Auto-dialogue should have been in Action and Story not Roleplaying, along with other things

It didn't ask me with my import, but I made sure it was on that mode in the option menu.

I picked Role Playing without even learning what the differences were ... eh, what are the differences? Are the endings better with Story? All I got were these three color things ...

I asked myself that question many times throughout the start of ME3.

Apparently the game thought my imported roleplaying game would be way to boring for me, so it sent me on a rail-road adventure, which would obviously give me a better flow and a faster, more smooth ride.

I like roleplaying, I tried to tell the game. You don't know what you like, the game replied. You like shooters and action movies, right? You're not a little girl, are you? You like action games, right?
I really don't, I said. I like slow games, where I can stop and think. I'm more of a slow burn kind of guy.
At that point the game just laughed at me and called me a baby girl and a nerd. Then it gave me a purple nurple and hooked up with my girllfriend behind my back.

I guess I like shooters now.

Imported. I actually checked the setting after 10 minutes in to see if I had gotten action mode somehow after the tons of autodialogue and nope, it was RP.

Action mode = No choices for you, thats pretty much it.
RPG mode = dialogue wheel like once every conversation.
Story mode = Easy mode.

In the end, it's pointless.

lol that was my exact experience as well.

The game was like 'what the hell are you doing nerd, stop fiddling with the options and get back to the shooting! Oh, wait, there's some boring dialogue crap coming up, I'll just put that s*** on auto-pilot, you go grab me a beer from the fridge in the meantime.'

@Areskeith - seems pretty similar to me
Action - fighting and tons of autodialogue.
Story - just lots of autodialogue. and
RP - fighting and autodialogue, yeah, that doesn't sound like a lot of difference does it?

I think they put the Action Mode there to cater to the casual gamers, then added the Story Mode to make it look like they weren't catering to the casual gamers.

Is Role-Playing the version with gameplay and story? If so, then that.
