I do if I ever have a really small amount of ms points. I think I may have spent about $10 or so total. Seeing as the multiplayer dlc is free, I don't feel that buying the odd psp every now and then is wasteful.

Each time a MP DLC came out, I test drove it for a few days, and once I was convinced it was awesome I spent $10 on packs. Not because I needed the packs, but because I wanted to help pay the people who created the DLC.

3 DLC expansions to MP x $10 each time = $30 well spent.

I disagree.  I've spent no money and I have the exact same access to the multi-player as you do.  I would not call that "well spent."

I don't mind spending money on DLC or on unlocks (IE pay 5$ and unlock w/e guns or classes like games like BF3 do to quickstart new players) but I can't see how many people justify spending 100's on random packs like this.

Reminds me of F2P mmos where my friends keep telling me I "waste money" on a subscription to other games yet they come back at me saying they spend 60-80$ a month on cash shop purchases.

/facepalm

And yes, they are convinced its cheaper that way -_-

Id much rather have a non terrible unlock system and pay for DLC to support the devs (Id love to support them by paying for dlc but.... I will never pay for random packs of things I can already get in game at a rate of 5-6/hr platinum farming)

When I first started playing, kids gave me MS Points for fathers day/birthday as I don't really need anything, then with each release I drop around $40 +, it helps keep the DLC's free

I accidentaly bought one with bioware points. I had like 6 mil credits, and about the psp number 26 I made a wrong click and used BW points instead of credits.

There should be a confirmation before buying with real money.

In the words of JC Denton, from one of my fav games of all time DEUS EX:  "What a shame"...

200 dollars!? I could've bought several new games, or another console with that.  I haven't spent a single dollar.  But my manifest is happy.

Why?  Because "my luck is augmented..."  -JC Denton. :ph34r:

Probably the equivalent of 40 dollars, along with spending 16 dollars for my girlfriend's profile...

10,400ish Microsoft Points. Not sure how to convert that to cash.

That's about $130 my good sir.

I've spent about $80, one for every DLC about.

No money so far and it won't happen.
Paying money for "chance" ain't worth it for me. If I knew what I'd get I probably would be tempted but if I can get the same stuff for free, it's not gonna happen.

However I consider every single dollar/Euro anybody spent truly well spent. Thanks to all of you we get all the DLCs for free. The F2P system of BW seems too be working incredibly well and I hope other games will follow this system.

Nope, and I don't plan to unless I've got some odd amount of MS points that I can't spend on anything else.

I almost never spend money on microtransactions. The last time I did it was last summer when Team Fortress 2 went free-to-play, and I just spent $5 on random crap to get a premium account and that was it.

I don't really feel this mp is worth anything beyond what I spent on the game.

I did in the past, but I can't remember how much. Since I don't play as frequently as I did before (I mostly just play during weekend challenges), I stopped.

To those of you that think it's stupid to spend money on packs, you probably don't have the money to spend on them. Don't hate those of us that do. We are probably the reason that they keep making DLC's.

I am pretty good at the game and know that time will get me many points, but I don't have lots of time to play, so it's just easier for me to shell out some money on points to at least get a quick start. I do a combo of purchased points and earned credits when a new DLC is released.

I have probably spent like $300 total. It's not breaking my bank so I'll do what I want with my money!

I put in 20. Even after saving up 2 million for the earth dlc and getting all the weapons and characters. I threw in some money to give them incentive to hopefully keep extending MP.

$100 USD plus relevant taxes (8000 BW Points), all of which went into 30 PSP's and 5 SP's. I bought 4800 sometime last week and then the rest two days ago. As I rarely play Silver and never Gold/Platinum it would have taken me ages to get half decent gear so I shrugged and dished out cash. I got a lot of fantastic gear and characters and now thoroughly enjoy playing matches. Playing human characters with only an Avenger after a while gets REALLY old :/
