"Nerfers" got it changed? That's not even a nerf. <_<

Anyway, on the topic at hand. Consumables IV are useful, while extra character cards are not. Ergo, stop ****ing. This is a much better system than previous.

See this is the problem. The new PSP don't work for people that promoted. You and every other blinded individual don't understand that. The system is not much better. Its stupid and retarted. Most randoms that more than likely begged for the change are now wasting level 4 equipment up to wave 3. Least N7 rankin is permanent.
Whats really funny is that the same people who said N7 doesn't matter were wrong. I play random games now with level 1 characters all the time on gold and platinum. lol lets see your N7 <3000 not get booted from a gold/platinum game with a level 1. Oh wait you don't promote .... dang.

Ronnie Blastoff, I can always count on you popping up in these threads.

I love the fascination with Wave 3.

Taking your manifest into consideration, I'm not surprised you receive primarily ammo. For the most part, you are awaiting your URs. I'm in the same boat as are many others who have made it this far. You will receive your unlocks in due time. For now, focus on having fun with what you have unlocked or play another game.

As I said 1 millionth times, this drop rate problem leads mostly to credit hoarding than fun, speedruns and farming more than playing.
The glitches and broken rng are killing the game

Apparently there are bigger problems then missle glitchers. I'm pretty much saving credits until/if it's fixed. I'm around 88k Posted Image.

Ya'll need some clarification.

Level
IV consumables drop whenever the RNG gives you a rare character, but
the character is already maxed. It is totally possible that Revrant
would be given IV consumables, ya'll need to learn how the game works
before accusing people of being the stupidest people on the forums.

Example:

-RNG drops a Krogan Sentinel.
-Oh no! My Krogan Sentinel is already maxed out!
-RNG face-palms and drops an IV consumable in it's place.

This is indeed what happens

This is my opinion but it doesn't jive with the majority opinion on here...

I'm a promoter...Give me the XP from Character cards. I'll use Lvl IV consumables on Gold or Plat but I don't need them...What ever coding that has taken place has screwed many of us out of Uncommon and rare gear. I could theorize how the probability tree is laid out and where the error might be, but without one of the developers actually acknowledging that they are looking at it it doesn't do anyone any good to keep commenting again and again in increasingly belligerent threads.

And these are my feelings as well: I'd rather consistently get Character Cards and promote regularly than get lvl IV ammo.

Once one of my characters reaches lvl 20, I get a feeling of "It's 20, now promote it to finish". I mostly enjoy playing lvl 10 through 19, when the build I'm trying isn't complete yet, and I have to make do with what I got. Once I finish that one, I move on to the next class, repeat the process, untill they're all lvl 20. Then promote them all and start over.

Before the ammo junk was added, this worked out pretty well: promote them, buy a bunch of packs, which would level them all up to around lvl 13, and play them all up to 20.
Now with the ammo junk, after promoting I buy roughly the same amount of packs, but I'm lucky if even half the characters level up to 13 from those packs. A couple of them don't even level up at all now, since the Character Cards I used to get instead of maxed weapons are now replaced with junk ammo that I don't need. It takes longer to complete the circle now, and though I do make some more credits along the way, it doen't make a difference, since I'm just getting ammo anyway, not the character cards I used to get.

Overall, the level-up -> promotion circle is a LOT less fun now, because now I'm forced to play all these level 1 characters that don't have any useful skills yet and get treated like a fifth wheel by other players, even on Bronze, and even though my trusty old Carniflex occasionally places me in 2nd-3rd place on the scoreboard.. It's the level 1's fault that the game took 1 minute longer to complete, not that idiot vanguard who kept dying around every corner. The lobbies are effectively discouraging promotion! I don't think that's the general idea of promotion, is it? To be discouraged using it?

Shut up and be happy with what you got, CC are useless, ammo is betta!!- least thats the additude you'll be recieving from the general pub. I loved promoting, now once i'm level 19 im hesitant to even get to 20 knowing I'll have to wait until my friends get online, or even better, play FBWGG with a bunch of randoms (all at level 18~20, sitting at N7 1~900 cause promoting is "useless", using level 4 ammo and still failing...) until I hit level 14. I don't understand the mindset of the general pub.

On the positive side I've become a much better player. Being forced to play with a level 1~15 has changed my playstyle around dramaticly. Much better choice making, much better accuracy since missing usually means death, much more survival since i'm always in the back of my head, I have 500/500 shields.

I use the ammo on my lvl 1 characters now on Bronze. I know, I don't need it, but I certainly don't need that ammo anywhere else either, my lvl 1 characters benefit most from it, since they have only 1-2 extremely weak abilities with looooong rechargetimes, and because of that rely more on their weaponry.

Would boot even if your N7 rank was 100k. Level 1 toon is level 1

The Harrier is fine so are all the other weapons, things should be left alone and everyone should stop whinning cuz someone else either has a gun they dont have or use it better. Bioware should just Vanilla the guns back to normal and just buff the enemies, me and my friends decided to run lvl 1 characters and we got Geth Gold on Rio, well we beat it and got a full extract. Why? well running good guns and lvl ammo/equipment and just working together and being smart. I'd prefer the enemies being a bit smarter or stronger, and a new enemie would be nice about now, anyone else for some Collector's? Let's rally for that instead of whine about wanting weapons nerfed. Are people seriously complaining about getting Level IV ammo that serves a purpose instead of character cards that do absolutely nothing?

I'd be fine about it if they kicked in after my characters were maxed. I just want the rest of my appearance options. The gear can wait. I'm all for lvl IV ammo... But please let me coolify my peeps first

For people who regularly promote, the Character Cards actually serve a purpose, while the Ammo IV cards, quite obviously, don't.

My personal opinion on CC and level IV ammo is irrelevant to what I am about to say...

You are one of the most self-centered whiniest self-entitled cry-babies I have seen. Holy ****! The world does not revolve around you. Some people like to promote, fine. Some find it useless, fine. However you have no regard for other people's preferences. You are selfish and your constant whining contributes nothing to your self-centered desires.

That is all, keep crying. Maybe someone will take pity on you.

LOL. If you hate lv4 ammo you would have despised the old system. Character cards everywhere. At least there is use for these.

U is wrong sir. I got two character cards of the paladin in one psp. Generally how it went was maxing gold weapons -> completing character pimpin options -> level 4 gear. In between, very few ur weapons.

Not sure about killing the game, it's probably as much the completely-usual cycle of people finishing and moving to new games.  Also about only 25% of my friends even bother(ed) with online ME3; most just played single player.

I do agree about drop-rate / RNG issues.  I have no motivation to buy packs when I seem to get no permenant gear or URs.
I prefer ammo to character cards, they basically make the game easier by increasing your DPS, which character cards do not do.

No I'm not whining about it, I accept a 5-9% drop rate, but i just do not get guns I want, and my drop rate is worse due to Teh randomness.  Better to save credits for new DLC and have a chance of actually unlocking any rares or lower which are released.

Or, maybe in vain, hope the drop rate of common and rare permenant gear gets adjusted, as I would much rather have reusable choices than 1-use ones.
