i would probably end up fighting for Cerberus, then defecting in ME3 to fight reapers. Generally because I really don't think the aliens are nice to humans in the mass effect universe, (I still did most of the side missions and cured the geophage and saved all the team in two, but never got over the fact the galactic community hated humanity)

 I would do my best to introduce some Star Trek technology into the ME universe in preparatin for the Reapers.  A phaser could do more damage then the standard projectile like weapons used in ship to ship combat, as well as better shields.

To do that I would kill the Shadow Broker and take over, and he probably wouldn't even have a big security force. In LOTSB I think the reason he had a small army was because he knew Liara and Shepard were coming for him, but if you were to go straight to him, and he doesn't he know you exist because you are not from his universe, then you could catch him off guard, and take over.

After that I would try and kill the Illusive man early on, and combine the Cerberus and Shadow Broker resources to build my Star Trek Tech.

ANd the Enterprise in secret, I would prefer the E, but I would build the D as well if need be.

After the attack by Soverighn I would offer to sell some of the tech to each world for their militaries in order to help prepare them for the Reapers. I would also make sure to provide unquestionable proof that they exist.

I would mostly leave Shepard to his/her own devices, because being left to tbeir own was what made them great in the first place, though perhaps here and there I could offer a little help. 

I would also try and marry Liara, or Samara, or Aria, or Shiala the grren Asari. All of them if possible, but if I had to choose I would marry liara, and have children.

I would hope to be Turian. With my experience of Mass Effect I have surmised it is fairly easy to obtain and use information to your advantage, as long as you can defend yourself. I would spend my time acquiring the knowledge/tools to hack into terminals to acquire information that I would like to use from that point I would sell/trade info. Yes this is a lot like the Shadow Broker but it is only a temporary plan as I wish to become a powerful crime lord/Mercenary leader. My hand would be in everything from pirating, terrorism for my own financial gain, assassinations, political backstabbing, and slaving. I would be a cold hearted bastard to my enemies but a hospitable one to my friends. Eventually I would extend my reaches into the Reaper threat as it arises through out the course of the game turning my forces towards Prothean dig sites rather than colonist ships acquiring a vast understanding of the our Armageddon . Eventually Shepard will have risen to spectre status and defeat Saren. At this point I will funnel most of my power into creating a strong defensive Colony essentially a fallout shelter to wait out the reaper threat. I will hoard my knowledge and power in my impenetrable castle until it eventually comes under siege from reaper forces. From then on me and whatever mercenaries I had left would wage a long and bloody war of attrition with the Reaper soldiers. I imagine with my extensive Knowledge Shepard would have been directed to save/obtain me/knowledge. He will arrive to see my base of operations burning and crumbling. He will find me in the center of the base leaning glumly over a computer terminal. He barges into the room spraying his weapon behind him, his squad close in tow. We will have a brief exchange of words, I will berate him on his lateness and the state of Palaven, he will either sympathetically respond to my grievances or be an ****. Either way I let him take my information on the Reapers and he turns to leave. As he steps out the door he sees I am still hunched over my console staring thoughtfully out a window. He begins to cajole/threaten me into coming in which case I cut him short with a slow wave of my hand. He realizes my decision and lets me be alone with my thoughts. A short while later the pounding of gunfire alerts me to our inevitable defeat. Down the hall way I see what could be the last of my loyal men fall to his knees and slump against the wall, dead. Leaning on the side of my desk sits an assault rifle I had grabbed off a fallen comrade days earlier. I do not need to look to know the sheer amount of Reapers that are now marching down the hall. I slowly stand up and put a hand on my assault rifle when the footsteps stop. I turn around to see a vast sea of horribly mutated races all breathing and writhing in unison. I do not feel my gun recoil as I empty it into the vast ocean nor do I feel the impact of their weapons. Adrenaline had taken over and this alone would carry me throught the moments to come. My weapon will tear through the first line of enemies and send them reeling. The ocean will part and through its opening will step an abomination twice my height. My weapon hisses at me and I can no longer fire. I will have no time to reload or find another weapon as the Brute will already be upon me. I will be held high in his oveerbearing right arm I will stare him straight in the face as I plunge my Omni blade into his jaw and bringing it up through the cranium. The beast will falter and stumble into the large glass window that rested in front of my desk. Still stabbing the beast with my blades as the Glass cracks and both of us descend into the compound a hundreds of feet below. The last thing I will see as I am falling towards my doom is the battered hull of a shuttle flying above and the feeling of heavy eyes staring remorsefully at me.

I'm an engineer in real life, so I imagine I would be an engineer in game too ... so yea, an Omnitool and Combad Drones. Sounds like a recipe for awesome to me

There is a particle accelerator (named after Leonard Susskind IIRC), the largest ever made, around a moon in Asari space. I'd be there doing a postdoc. Yes, it gets blown up first thing in the Reaper invasion (which is awesome because it implies knowledge is more dangerous to Reapers than military power), but I just wouldn't be able to resist the amazing scientific possibilities happening there.
