I know it's beside the point, but I think Saints Row 3 was amazing. It was easily the most fun I've had playing a game in quite a while. If that's going South, I hope more games do so.
SR2 was amazing, over the top, but still 'believable'. Sr3 is just an eyesore.

I played SR2 and I get what you mean, but I don't think SR3 was an "eyesore." In fact, that complete disregard for reality set it apart from every other game I played this year.crypticcat 2o2p wrote...

ME3 wasn't what I imagined it would be. neither were ME1 or ME2, but I've played those enough times to enjoy them for what they are, not what I thought they might be. Gonna take a few more playthroughs for ME3 to feel as familiar as the others.

The only real turnoff for me is the Citadel fetch quests. Every time I remember those, I just feel MEH.

Agree. People may give Bioware flak, but Blizzard is probably the worst offender I've seen in terms of doing what it thinks is best instead of what the fanbase wants. I think that SC2 is probably one of the few products that they'd made for the fans.
That's an interesting point. I've really stayed away from Blizzard games for long time, and I rate SC2 as one of my favourite games. You can perhaps understand my annoyance when I began to look into Diablo 3 - a game I was only really paying any interest in because of how much I enjoyed SC2 - only to find that it was probably one of the worst customer relations fiascos I've seen for a while.
I'm crossing my fingers that whichever wise guys they had ruining the Diablo franchise are kept to that as damage control and they're not allowed anywhere near Heart of the Swarm.

I just have to say it was worth it. Havent played it since it came out basicly, and my eyes were not exactly dry after watching the extended ending, probably would have been a cry fest if i had re-played it from start.
Best of all tho, the "new" ending was basicly as i pretended it to be in my denial about how short the old ending felt, so i imagined a whole new one. Nice to see my imagination dident bring me to far away from the extended one.

ME2 completed: 21 times
ME3 completed: 2 times
Haven't been able to play any of the series. EC came out, played through ME3's ending 4 times to see all the endings, haven't touched any ME game since. I liked the EC I find it really helped ME3. But the ending wasn't my only beef with ME3 and IMO the Starchild still completely destroys the whole series for me.
While replaying ME1's ending all I think about is the Starchild and the fact that my Shepard will be standing there in 2 games and then all epicness of the ending and the whole game is ruined.
ME3 ruined ME for me. and I was a huge fan. I still frequent these forums every once and a while just to check around and see what's going on but I just can't play the games anymore.

I'll still buy future BioWare games, though. I just hope the endings of those future games, especially the ones who follow the saves have more of a relation to the decisions, etc from the whole experience.
Edit: Dawnguard is awesome, eh Crash?
That's basically all I'm playing right now, Bethesda ftw for me atm. Fallout: NV completed just the other week and now I'm focused on Skyrim 100%. ;P I really want to hear news on Fallout 4, though...

ME2 completed 14 times
ME3 completed 8 times
I have yet to import a broShep into ME3 and my Thanemancer femShep is still holding in ME2. I've played my main Shepard 3 times, my main renegade twice and the others once. All have been through the EC, but I haven't touched it since. I've also cut back quite a bit on MP since the EC.
@Crash - Dawnguard still isn't out for me. ;P

Loved ME1&2. Played them both religiously.
But ME3? -- Crap plot, incredibly boring campaign that renders ME1&2 meaningless, maximum auto-dialogue from beginning to end, zero choice, little carry-over from ME1&2, only 3 enemy factions, amateur designed boss fights........and the Reapers are little more than a little boys toy. Literally!
Havent bothered booting ME3 up since the EC DLC.
sums it up pretty much. played me3 and replayed it a second time because i thought i got it wrong!
and never again since than. watched the ec on you tube. stcking to me1 and 2, pretending me3 never happened.
