 Just now, I had something very unusual happen. 

I was playing Batarian soldier, firebase white, silver vs cerberus, out on the landing pad punching anyone silly enough to come up over the sides. One punch was against a phantom. She dodged, the batarian pivoted with her ...

off the map. I think. There was about a second of freefalling, then I was back on the pad. The only difference was, I had no sound, was moving about 5x faster than normal and was completely indestructible. It was wave 8 so I didn't want to quit but I felt like a cheater. 

Extraction wave, I tried to use a ladder, clipped into it, got stuck and the team had to do a partial extraction. 

I've still got no sound.

Such glitches are somewhat common. You have to completely exit the game to get it working again. Probably a good idea to exit origin too, but I don't think necessary. If it still doesn't work, reboot.
