I love Alistair. The first time I started to play and got almost to the end he broke up with me and I felt so hurt. So I had to start over and become queen with him. I felt much better after that.

The entertainment he provides is great! I have played through 2 complete times just so I could have everyone in together a few times to hear all the conversations. Who ever thought up the dialoge for this is my hero.

Oooh, I loved Hatter.  But more because I like them rogue-ish than the accent. 


Honestly, despite my earlier comment, I can't choose between Kaiden and Alistair's voices.  I'm just glad they're in different games.

He did that's why he's sitting in the corner, crying, listening to 100 reasons why no one will ever love you. As soon as he does stand up for himself, he's got no friends. Alistair consequently rerolled doormat.

Well, when he stands up for himself at the Landsmeet in MY game, my PC has his back.  Every single time, romance or not.

I think all the people who aren't loving Alistair just haven't gotten a rose from him yet.  I'd be cranky if I didn't get a rose, too.

Slightly related to Alistair -> I started a new game of Mass Effect today (360 had to go into HQ to be repaired not that long ago and all my saved games poofed) so I'd have my Moira Shepard to take into ME2 in a few weeks ... I have been spoiled by the prettiness of Dragon Age!! I can't even stand how ugly everyone is - especially me!! I don't think Alistair, the free-loving, dwarf/elf-accepting guy that he is could give the female Shepard a rose...

Our 360 went belly up a couple months ago.  I had nearly every achievement in ME1.  I wanted to cry.  Got it replaced, but I can't seem to remake my "canon" Shep.  And I'm not looking foward to my "Insanity" playthrough.



I pray this 360 doesn't bite it before DA:2.  I've got nearly all the achievements already.

But even when you harden him, it doesn't make much difference to the dialogue before the end of the game.

He's still a bumbling fool until then!
