Hey man, I care. I'm not afraid to use medi-gels/rockets when needed. If someone's down and isn't all the way across Vancouver I'm going for them, but, I can't do that every 6 seconds, which is the expected lifespan of some people in a lot of Platinum games I've played.

Looks at Mass Effect 3 case- Rated M for Mature 17+ by the ESRB. That doesn't sounds like everyone to me ...... Even though mommies and daddies buy the game for kids that aren't old enough anyway s .....

Fact - There are age restrictions relating to the purchase of the game but NO age restrictions for playing the game.
EA seem to the only ones who have an age restriction for online play (Xbox). My 13 year old son bizarrely (IMHO) cannot play FIFA online.

I have a suggestion for those pushing for gated platinum. Friend request everyone with the same platform that is in favor of this crap. Then go play platinum matches with them. Easy.

Also, what would make the rest of us laugh, or at least me, is post the names of people who you did friend that thought they were good enough for these matches and turned out they were terrible.

It better be because everyone paid some form of money to own this game and have access to all of its features.  I paid $60 for it, I should be able to be N7 1 and play all the platinum matches I want.

Horrible reasoning. I paid $80 for CE edition but still don't have quite the manifest that others do. Should I not be givin the oppertunity to use the weapons that others have recieved. Granted that this is due to the trolling RNG, it does not discount the invalidity of your argument. Those who have spent time honing thier skills and accruing the necessary equipment should not be forced to carry the less experienced, and in some cases less intelligent. When I say less intelligent I mean having a thorough knowledge of the game mechanics, so don't go crying that I'm an elitist douche, cause I'm actually far from it.
And as for the "play with your friends" argument, not everyone currently has enough friends playing the game to never need a team. So stop spamming the "friends or solo" argument, it's a team based game.

So, I'm not telling you how to play, I'm just telling you to think about how you would feel if you constantly had to pull the weight of others. Socialism doesn't work in video games either.

So I played a few platinums this evening. I won 2, got to the 3rd round on 1, and left 4 different teams because players refused to use equipment or were obviously inexperienced and undergeared.

In one match that I left one of the players stated, over the mic, "ok guys im going to eat" AFTER the match had started...
