I attended a wedding roughly 2 months ago that had its reception at a yacht club. I enjoyed a $100 meal that involved a strange fried potato sculpted in a Victorian-Style shape, slices of smoked ham, and about 5 other things I can't remember. I do know it was the greatest meal I've had all year.

Hmm a cheeseburger with fries, Ice cream and two bottles of water, nothing special really. I just had not eaten in 4 days and had no sleep and little water, so yeah pretty much anything you have after that long is the best thing ever.

That or the time I went to the beach and like we vistied and uncle and he offerd us breakfast it was very odd for me but like I'm used to like one item or maybe two, rarely fruits when I was growing up, and I mean he had a spread of just small amounts of everything, bacon, eggs, watermelon, pineapple, grits, bagels, muffins, it was like a dinner table with all sorts of small stuff, but it was great.

A (BIIIIIIG @_@) simple hot dog and orange juice ^_^

Few years ago during a school trip, I found this little place where the bread, sausage, and mustard for the hot dogs were made by themselves. I don't care what was in that sauce, or if the meat for the sausages had some stupid certificate. All I know is that it was simpy HEAVENLY *-*

The juice was great too! Instead of simply ordering it and receiving a "could be orange juice" bottle, you had to pick 5 oranges from a bin, and the person would make your juice with them. I loved it! ^_^

Hmm lets see, the best meal I've ever had was when I would go to ****** Barrel with my folks way back when. I'd always get blueberry pancakes with a plate of the most fatty and greasy bacon ever to come out of a pig, all washed down with an ice cold coca cola.

Real, home-made Thai green curry at my Dad's house. By home-made I mean everything down to the paste is made. Even the damn chicken is *physically* made by hand. I may or may not be half-lying.

Another amazing one was this watercress pancake thing with haddock inside, all topped with a light, white, butter sauce (wasn't bechamel) - that was at a gastro pub somewhere in Bucks, England my late step-father took us to. Can't remember what it's called, but there were photos of various England rugby players on the walls, I think.

A few years ago, I had Unagi Kabayaki at this random sushi bar in KL. That's been one of my favourites ever since.

Finally, I had a really good plate of Bangers and Mash at a random place here in Aberdeen for breakfast a while ago. Had everything good going for it... Yorkshire puddings, gravy, lincolnshire sausages, peas, carrots, mash... So. GOOD. >.<

Lamb ragout, Rhodes, 1990. Absolutely awesome. Never tasted anything like it since.

The meal's awesomeness was really only matched by the waiter's rudeness, but it kind of added to the event.

Nearly forgot >.<. My mother's spring-rolls. There is a very consistent reaction from everyone who tries them, which is that spring-rolls from anywhere else subsequently tastes crap in comparison. Some of the best comfort food ever! DX And I don't know how to make them!

I'll give the best Subway sandwich recipe I've ever had:

1) Italian bread
2) Double Meat (Provolone and Pepper Jack)
3) Double Cheese
4) Lettuce
5) Light Onions
6) Tomato
7) Spinach
8) Hot and Sweet Peppers
9) Pickles
10) Honey Mustard
11) Chipotle Sauce

Assuming I remembered everything -- as I'm unsure of what else beyond that Subway has as options for a sandwich -- then if you get this you will be in culinary heaven. It's a colossal sandwich that costs 9-10 dollars, but it's worth it when you taste how amazing it is.

A co-worker made me a casserole dish filled with homemade mannicotti. I ate the entire batch in order to return the dish after shift; was unable to sit down in comfort the rest of the night, but it was incredible!
