Great diea except .... BioWare nerfs the "powerful" weapons because fun is not allowed in ME3 MP as shown by all the nerf herders BioWare listens too. Anything a destroyer can use to help stay alive when out of grenades gets nerfed because it is "over powered" meaning it hurt someones epeen at some point because their biotic charachter/infiltrator/tech busrting psycho got outscored by it in a match ..... TC has the point, stealing grenades from Demolisher is a zero-sum tactics, stealing 1 grenade for you means the demolisher is going to be throwing 1 less grenade, which means at the end of the day the team gains NOTHING, only the person who stole the grenade gets more score, while the demolisher score suffers.
The demolisher (and any other classes) have the obligation to contribute to the team, but they have no obligation to sacrifice to make your score higher.

And this is why I don't share the pylon with most other players. Oh no! I didn't take that evolution! Sucks for you doesn't it, you'll just have to use that thermal clip consumable.
I've said this before but I think it applies here.
As a Demolisher I sit on the pylon and suck up the grenades and ammo, bite me people, I don't care. I'm using a Cerberus Harrier and I can spam grenades that turns boss armour into butter. Call it camping or whaterver you want, but it works. For all the whining of not being a team player, if I can hold the other side of the map on my own and stop the team getting flanked by 3 phantoms, geth pyros, marauders etc. then I've achieved what I set out to do.
Free everyone else up from getting swarmed, if it means I have to throw a missile in there to get a banshee's attention it comes with the territory. (Last game I had 3 phantoms chasing me while the rest of the team did the objectives, okay I died, but I stayed alive long enough to draw the phantoms away so the escort could succeed.
However, I do upsticks and move when the Hack objectives arrive. Plant the pylon behind some cover and turn the demolisher into a mobile gun turret. When it's finished then I'll move back to my original position and redeploy the pylon.
I don't mind the odd grenade or ammo borrowing by the team now and again. Especially Quarians with Arc grenades, that's all good. But last time I had a Krogan with lift grenades try to push me off the pylon. LIFT GRENADES! when nobody on the team could detonate the biotic primed target. Wasn't a problem, I just redeployed the Pylon 2 feet to the left and sat on it again. Passive resistance all the way demolisher users. Don't rage, get even.

If they used somewhere in the ballpark of 4 grenades, sure.
Anyway, just played a game where a Demo set up shop near the ammo box. Usually a good idea, a good spot to bunker down at, but they started grabbing the grenades from the box as soon as they spawned as well. So I was without grenades half the game as a Destroyer.
Do not use up the ammo boxes as well if you aren't going to be remotely helpful with your pylon.
And not enough people seem to know this: if you use the pylon again you get your ammo and grenades as soon as it lands again, even if it's up, start abusing this and leave the ammo boxes to the other grenade users.

I run and gun all the time on my Batarians and Krogan. Can't imagine it's that difficult to do the same with a human with potential for over 2000 shields.

Are you kidding? You know you're allowed to bring two guns right? Balance it out. I mainly play Demolisher, there's no reason to not share the grenades. My friend plays Destroyer, his multi-frag is just as useful as a demo's grenades. Plus there are ammo boxes on the map too. People seem to forget that. Share your stuff, don't hog the grenades because the Demo has a lot more going for her than just grenades.

Even if they do, you're getting a guaranteed 2 grenades and ammo at a rate around every 11 seconds you put a pylon down if you have around 80% cooldown speed. That's more than enough to keep the grenades all to yourself when you put them down.

That is pretty much it.
People seem to think a demolishers only job is to sit at the side of the pylon for shields, pop off a few shots here and there and let everyone else get the ammo and grenades. Pfft. I chew through ammo and grenades so fast blasting shields and blasting the swarms of enemy around rambo wannabe downed players, creating openings so myself or others can go revive.
Sure, come in and grab some if you cant get to an ammo box. But remember that we are usually always the ones smashing down the shields of flamers, primes, banshees, all of em so our teams can do their jobs more effectively. Which for the most part they don't. Heck.. My arc grenades have me on more damage than most the people I pug with.
Usually I notice the people trying so hard to camp the pylon drops and complaining over mic are the ones contributing the least to a group anyway. Focus more on doing your part than worrying about the demo getting the ammo its own ability creates.

Naah... I actually appreciated the hard facts RecoonHoodie, Aldarionn and Schneidend gave us. Although my Demolisher's Arc Grenade miraculously does 860 damage. *scratches forehead* It's just hard to extract the facts out of this mess.

With intelligent use of multi frags you can stagger pretty much anything. See why it's kinda important?
