With intelligent use of multi frags you can stagger pretty much anything. See why it's kinda important?

As someone who plays demolisher a lot i hate it when others in my squad assume it's my job to keep them supplied with grenades. Seriously you should be moving around the map and raiding ammo boxes or hell, why not use one of your thermal clips? It's not like they are in short supply for anybody. Whenever people steal grenades from the demolisher all you do is make that character weaker thereby making your team less effective overall.

Spam the pylon and you're set, but people shouldn't expect you to be their personal grenade slave. It doesn't work that way. Especially under gold (or plat now) fire.

Naah... I actually appreciated the hard facts RecoonHoodie, Aldarionn and Schneidend gave us. Although my Demolisher's Arc Grenade miraculously does 860 damage. *scratches forehead* It's just hard to extract the facts out of this mess.

Though he was pulling nerf flame wars into this thread, which is already clogged up with enough nonsense as it is. It doesn't need that in here too.

For people talking about Dev mode slowing You down. Did You know that there is something like adrenaline amp?

Crazy thing is, they have this thing called cover. The stagger is enough time to get behind something and with any Destroyer who avoided missle launcher and picked up the shield regen evolutions, it's enough to survive with.

Right because on Platinum having 50% more shields totally matters against Phantom Super-Palm-blaster-of-doom or atlas sniper bullets

Really? I read on this forum in every topic that: "shield doesn't matter, becouse You'll be dead instantly on platinum if out of cover". Sometimes being able to run away fast is better than tanking everything like a fool and die.

You even wrote it yourself a few seconds ago that shield doesn't matter...

I have to lol at the ppl that moan why we failed in a farm run coz I was not throwing nades. GET OF MY PYLON THEN.

Are you kidding? You know you're allowed to bring two guns right? Balance it out. I mainly play Demolisher, there's no reason to not share the grenades. My friend plays Destroyer, his multi-frag is just as useful as a demo's grenades. Plus there are ammo boxes on the map too. People seem to forget that. Share your stuff, don't hog the grenades because the Demo has a lot more going for her than just grenades. 


I'm just saying if the demolisher is not throwing grenades throughout the entire match, then you cheating your team out of a good asset.  I use the warfighter gear and with the build I have I have 7 grenades.  You really need to toss grenade pairs ( arc then homing ) to get the best chance for damage ( both speced for dot ) for tech explosions.  Also the homing grenades might be the best grenades in the game.  If somebody is taking grenades from my supply then you are taking away from my damage potential.  Oh, and I do use my guns all the time ( Typhoon and Piranha ).

i am a demo and if i get the nades, cool
if not oh well
i will go to a crate to try to get the nades back

If they wanted to just "Use 2 Guns" they wouldnt choose a Demo, they would choose a Soldier so that they have abilities that compliment the guns (LIke Marksman or Adrenaline Rush) but they chose a Grenade specialist class to use grenades

Since you are new to the conversation i will enlighten you: I support using COVER as a  primary, running around as a Slow class and wasting a Mod that could make them tougher t instead make them a LITTLE faster is a stupid excuse as t why the Destroyer should have Grenades more than the Demo. The Demo can kill from acrss the way with their grenades, while the destroyer has to be right in front of them. NOT a valid strategy on Plat in case you are still stuck on Bronze

Don't share the grenades but help by downing multiple shields at once as well as killing things within the radius and your team complains you are a grenade hog and have no team work.

Share the grenades and run out yourself and your team complains you aren't throwing enough grenades and have no team work.

Anyone who tells you to use two guns on the Demo and thinks their grenades do more damage then a Demo's nades, doesn't know how to use the class.

Given that the pylon drops the grenade instead of regenerating them, I think it's clear it's meant to be possible to share.

Given that the Demolisher can, at any time, recast the pylon and not only gain extra grenades but also take it away from anyone abusing it, I think the demolishers have quite enough tools to make sure the lion's share of grenades goes to them already.

I love my demolisher. I have not noticed people trying to "steal" my grenades, nor would I care. I have 240 ammo packs and I usually make it through gold without having to use more than 1 or 2 and never run out of grenades. If it really becomes a problem, replace your Pylon. This is a non-issue that only people looking for something to whine about would care about.

If they DO, then they should feel a bit of a penalty for not having to care about weight of weapons.

Now, this is all theoretical, since I've yet to meet a demolisher who actually tried to prohibit others from their grenades (mind you, I almost never spec grenades on my guys anyway...), must be from playing on PC. But given all the advantages the demolishers get - not having to care about weapon weight, practically no cooldown on their abilities, defensive/offensive bonuses on the Pylon, they really should think a bit about the team a bit too.

Too many demolishers I've played with seem to think they have a right to pop their pylon somewhere and then stay in that one spot forever, no matter what happens, never moving. Resurrections suffered, objectives suffered, and THAT is a problem.

Fun times today. Two Demolishers on FBW. Both planted pylons behind the two desks so there's no cover except for the walls. Going into cover meant taking their grenade supply. They didn't like that at all. Apparently me dying was preferable.

I'm getting pretty sick of these threads, as I'm sure many are. When I play my paladin, I drop my shield and protect people who are stuck in the open. Sometimes I use my shield so someone can safely fire over my head with a better shot then if they used normal cover. It's called supporting, yes you should get grenade priority but hoarding your supplies is just plain selfish.

This is co-op so start cooperating!
