I decided to play DA:O again today and downloaded it off of Origin, but when I try to play the game I get "acw.dll load failed". I've uninstalled and reinstalled the game three times and get the same error. No other games have this problem. I'm running Windows 7 64-bit. Any help would be appreciated.

After some research, it seems that this error has nothing to do with the game itself, but EA Access files, the Origin software, or a program called Adobe AIR. Do you have the same error when starting DAII, ME2, or ME3?
Here's one solution. I don't know if it'll work with DAO, but it is the same problem you have. It's safe to assume you're logged into Windows as an admin, yes? Assuming that's the case, you could try one of solutions listed here.
If the ideas in those links fail to work, there are two different user solutions, one by ukmar and another by Apocolyptus, that other users have seen work on their systems.
Please tell the forum what works, in any of it does!
