Whenever I ask my mates "Which weapon would you recommend with <gun>? ... I want something for long range since the Piranha's range is so short. ... How are you guys doing so much damage...?!" they always answer "Equip the Typhoon ... I recommend the Typhoon ... it's because I'm using the Typhoon."

... I still don't have it... but if it is anything like the Harrier, no doubt when I finally unlock it I'll find it vastly underwhelming since it doesn't suit my playstayle.

Take a peek at his manifest.

He's missing alot. Not even fully maxed Uncommon guns.

He might have played for a long time; but not playing too often will have the same effect as having just started.

Well i got the typhoon on day of release to lvl 5 after spending 6 mln credits. Got it to 10 in the next 2 days after spending additional 6-7 mln credits.

Neither the typhoon or the harrier. In fact until just about the start of this month (and I've been playing pretty regularly since release) I didn't have any Ultra Rare gun above level II.

I have a typhoon 4. got all 4 slots from regular spectre packs. I don't think I'm buying PSPs anymore. I got most of my gear from spec packs and probably most of my URs too.

Got it yesterday, you aren't missing much, harrier is better all round gun, typhoon only really useful on the n7 soldier, and even then, being out of cover that long on platinum and gold will get you killed....

Me too. I have Talon V now though, which I guess isn't completely useless. I'd still swap all five of them for a Typhoon in a heartbeat...

No Typhoon nor harrier here.

Having fun with Krogan's assault rifle though: Striker Assault Rifle.
It's like having a flak gun with ammo that runs out in 15 sec.
Not much in terms of damage, but kept the enemy staggered.
Need to empty almost an entire clip to kill 1 enemy (even with N7 Destroyer +ammo).
Consequently, need to stick near ammo stash in Gold. Still ok to run around in SIlver going from ammo cache to ammo cache.

Don't think I'll be unlocking either the Typhoon or Harrier before the next DLC.
Special Packs still only giving me old stuff that don't suit my playstyle. (Disciple, Arc Pistol, etc)
I'm just thankful that I got a new N7 Destroyer character.

i just unlocked that yesterday except i think mine is a V... but guess what got my typhoon II and my harrier VII today. I think it was a pretty successful day. My buddies want to kill me over this fact but they're glad to have the firepower on the team...

the typhoon wreck's gold. Maybe Im running a way different setup then you.

First day I spent 7 mil, from the release of DLC around 15 and.... still no Typhoon, tho cca every 1 mil credits I was getting an ultra rare weapon but this weekend 1.7 mil credits spent and stil nothing. Now this has seriously put a dent into my plans since I was hoping 60 mil. would be enough to max out ultra rares  What I did get was again char cards like female human setinel  ( and I rarely promote) and a whole stack of ammo.

But I do like when I join random game and someone has Typhoon and he/she is good with it  Ofc it makes me want it even more

Because if you storm Bioware, count me in. I'll gladly lay down some form of support with my Typhoon. Once we take Bioware...let's change the RNG system. That way, we can all have Harriers and Typhoons galore!

Though if you plan and taking out us Typhoon users...prepare for a world of hurt!



Anyways, can I start a "Still waiting for the Harrier" Club? And if so, can we party with the SWT Club?

I finally got a Typhoon yesterday. It took six million credits since the DLC's release but I got it.

the Typhoon was op before because of the wall piercing. how the nerfed one is not as op... does good damage on armor thought.
You can still add a ap mod to it thought, adding wall pierce and slightly higher dps vs ap. But it seems like a waste of mod slot.

 I got the Typhoon the first day of Earth.

The Harrier...no sign of.  But the day that flippin piece of crap Particle Rifle was put into the UR pool...I sure as hell end up getting it. <_<
