I'm glad that I undo my mistakes with my character and then got to a point where I get my character into a happy ending in the origins. And then I completed the rest of the expensions which is "Awakening", "The Golems of Amgarrak", and "Witch Hunt".

So if you have any questions, let me know in this thread or PM.

Hey a fellow PS3'er. Feel like I'm surrounded by Xbox people most of the time.

On to the build. That looks to be more of an offensive tank based on stats, but a very balanced build for a game that tends to punish well roundness.

One thing you may try in the future is moving some of you points from cunning, constitution, and willpower, to dexterity. That will boost your attack and defense making up for the lack of constitution. And with the gear you have on you wont need the constitution anyway.

Another secret is to get the "Legion of the Dead Herald" from the dwarven merchant just as you go down the stairs to the left after entering Amaranthine. Thats +20 to all stats IIRC.

A defensive tank? If you don't mind me saying, that doesn't sound a fun build. Tanks get a bad rap as boring as it is. Who wants to just be the Darkspawn's punchbag while your companions pull out all the good moves?

16 Cunning (base) is as much as you'll ever need, and you don't need nearly so much in willpower, and probably in constitution too. Just whack those extra points into strength and you're a tank who can dish a good punch. Pumping dex is pointless since after a while you'll be as unhittable as it's possible to be.

Hey, Ferretinabun what do you mean stacking dex is pointless? I get 2 strength 1 dex and always need dex. You mean at some point Dex. is pointless?

Yes, I should clarify: pumping dex much more than the OP already has is pointless.

Obviously you need Dex for the Weapon and Shield talents (which should be your first priority), and after that it does add to your defence score. But after a point your defence score will be so high that standard attacks will virtually never hit you anyway - you'll just get hit by the special attacks that will automatically hit. Either way, more points in Dex is pointless. Annoyingly I can't remember exactly what this cap is on Dex, but I seem to remember a 2/1 Str/Dex ratio is pretty ideal.

I really got the best tank build that I ever build. Dex will be good for the weapon and shield talents, but that's why I decided to maximumized my character's str and con as I can in order to be more durable and more health as I can, and then increased the hostility for my character. And maybe use "Beyond the Veil", "Guardian's shield", "Holy Smite", "Taunt", and then "War Cry", so I can get use to it being a tank.
